It's been so long

So, right now it's about 11 o'clock on September 2nd, I'm sitting on my bed clearing off a flash drive because tomorrow is... my first day of college. Anyways, so I'm looking through my flash drive and I find a lot of pictures I had saved off of another laptop and like yeah whatever, that's normal and all. Then I continued to go through my stuff and I realized that a lot of what was on it had to do with when I was first thinking of starting writing this book...5 years ago. That really put some shit into perspective. Writing and editing is what I want to do for my career and I haven't been able to stick with something pertaining to writing in soooo long. How am I going to have any success? I sat here and thought about it for a little while and like why I wasn't able to be more consistent. I think that a major problem I had is I was putting out chapters as I did them. Sometimes I would be busy and they wouldn't be as perfect as I'd like or even done, so then I wouldn't put them out. I also have this MAJOR problem of second guessing myself, especially in my writing, so then I would go back to it to finish it and end up trying to redo the entire thing.

This story line does mean a lot to me. I am constantly thinking about it, and I have so many ideas I just need to take the time to write them all down in chapter format instead of bullet notes in a journal.

The past few times that I fell behind and wanted to rewrite the story and make it better, I took it all off of wattpad and gave myself a clean slate. This time I do not want to do that. This time it will be different because shits getting real now. I mean, I'm in college working towards a degree.

So, here's the plan. I'm not going to update for a while (definitely not as long as my last update) because I am going to get a few chapters done and edited before I even think about uploading them. Eventually, I hope to update every week or every two weeks. I'm not exactly sure how it will work because I am going to be in school and working 2 jobs. I know in the past I have taken my like school vacations or just any free time I had to try and write and upload as an extra thing for you guys, but I think this time I am going to use that time to try to get more ahead just in case I ever do fall behind, I will have something to fall back on.

I hope that those of you who have begun reading this story oh so long ago will come back and continue reading. And for those of you who may be knew, I hope you enjoy.

Thank you guys all for reading. I am not going to set any dates for when the next chapter will be out, however, it is already started. As I said before I do not know what the uploading schedule looks like right now but I'm sure we will figure it out :)
