Hey readers,

So above I included a layout of the boys' rooms. It's not the best quality but it shows the basics. If you would like to picture their room your own way I wouldn't recommend looking at the picture above. That's all for now. Enjoy the chapter!!

Grayson

Walking into our new home at the school I am immediately hit with the feeling of comfort.  The feel of the house is warm, nothing like the cold aura given off at our fathers house where there were no pictures on the wall or decorations in the house, only the bare necessities.

I take a moment to survey the room. There's stairs in the middle of the house leading to the second floor where the bedrooms most likely are. On the left side of the stairs is a decent sized living room and on the right size is a kitchen. At the back of all this is small hallway leading to a place unknown. At the moment I cant see much more of the layout because the stairs block the view of the back of the house.

Here the house has pictures of what looks like past students on the walls, bursts of color from couches and random figurines around the room, and a guy on the couch watching the football game on the tv.

By watching, I really mean screaming at the bad call the referee just made. After he calms down a bit he realizes that there are people watching him and turn around to find Gus and I grinning at him.

The guy stands up and walks over too us, scratching the back of his neck and turning a bit pink in embarrassment. He's casually dressed in jeans and a white t-shirt and looks to be a bit older than us but not by much. My guess is that he is our dorm advisor.

"Hey, My name's Carter. You guys must be the twins." He says, muting the tv.

"That would be us. I'm Grayson and this is my brother, Gus. Glad to know we got the right place. Nice to meet you, Carter. And you're our dorm-advisor?"

"Yes. What gave it away? Was it the totally professional screaming at the tv act? He says, laughing at himself a bit.

"Yeah, that was it." Gus, responds laughing a bit as well.

"Okay, once you guys get are all settled into your room feel free to come hang out down here with me. We can watch the game or something. Your room is room 4, right upstairs on the right." Gus and I thank him and then head to the stairs. We're stopped short when he begins to speak again. "Oh, I almost forgot to mention your other dorm advisor, her name's Claire, had to step in for an advisor down at the elementary campus for the day. There's two just like there is here but one of them is running late and the elementary children can be a handful." Carter notifies us.

"I think she mentioned that she is going to see about bringing them here for a movie tonight, so you might meet her then. Alright, like I said, just come down when you're ready and just hang out. I had planned to have a meeting with the dorm tonight, but I realize that it is better to wait until tomorrow when Claire is here and more students arrive. So yeah, basically try not to get into trouble now and I'll catch you guys later." Carter concludes and Gus and I head up the stairs to see our room.

Our room is a pretty good size, its not enormous or anything like that, but it doesn't make you feel like you are going to suffocate. The room is painted light blue with a hardwood floor. Built-in white bookcases line the wall. There are heating vents surrounding the room for when the weather is cold and an air conditioning vent up on the wall close to the ceiling.

To the right of us is a door identical to the one we just walked through which Gus opens and finds that it leads to the adjourning bathroom. On the wall opposite is a large window that looks out to the house besides ours.
