The squidbeak readied their weapons as a familiar sounding song rung through the dome. Emperor and Gloves shivered at the sound of it. Not happy memories. As Marion approached the group with crystal spikes ready, a beat drop kicked in, and the squidbeak could CLEARLY tell that this song had been remixed. But it didn't sound like Octavio's beats...

Lookin' for just me, you're so very very very very foolish...

The squidbeak spread around Marion as she generated crystals in her hands. Empress and her platform were floating high up in the dome, around the battlefield. This shouldn't be too hard, right? It was just one person! The squidbeak dodged out of the way as the crystals struck the ground.

Rider aimed a vertical dynamo flick at Marion, but she quickly backed up and shot shards at him. Goggles saw and ran over to him, trying to shoot the shards down. The shards were not repelled by ink, or even Rider's dynamo ink, and stung his chest. He shouted in pain, but continued on anyway. He had a feeling he would be targeted for being the slowest.

"Rider! Are you okay?!" Goggles shouted.

"Yeah! Just keep...just keep going without me!"

Goggles nodded and dashed forwards, towards Marion. She generated more bladelike crystals and threw them outwards, but Goggles avoided them because he was faster. She dodged it of the way as Goggles began shooting at her, but the dualie trio came up behind her and ambushed her. She spun around and threw a spike ball down at them, knocking them out of the way like bowling pins. Nana was charging for her special, Flip and Hachi were trying to get closer to attack, and Verse was also inkling for her special while throwing splat bombs in whenever possible.

The sec you've got that song, gotta let it let it let it let it go!

Empress struck a pose, and an ink sound wave from the platform was generated. It rippled around the room and knocked all of the squidbeak down. Marion targeted Flip and Hachi next, since they were closer. Hachi fired a shot at her, but she used a crystal blade asa shield, and took no damage, slicing outwards with it afterwards. Hachi took a cut to the tentacle while Flip aimed to slam the roller onto Marion's foot while she was ducked down. Marion stepped back before she could, however.

Goggles and the dualies split up behind her and went for another bomb attack, but she leapt to the side and threw out what looked like tiny black marbles. Emperor and Prince backed up, but Gloves and Goggles didn't see them, and slipped on them. Marion snapped her fingers, and the marbles exploded as if they were regular splat bombs. Gloves and Goggles were blown back against the dome's wall, and Rider used his time to strike again. Marion threw some more black bombs at him, but she threw it a tad bit too late, and his swing launched them back at her. The bombs exploded in her face, and the ink hit her as well.

Today...today, I can guarantee...there is one who you gotta beat them up, 'cause I'm really really true, do the math, math, put a spell on you!

Nana charged her special, and used her inkjet to rise up above Marion. She couldn't reach Empress, but that didn't matter right now. She began firing at Marion from where she was, while Flip and Hachi got in closer to attack. Verse STILL hadn't gotten her special charged, but she noticed Nana using her inkjet and rolled a bomb over by Marion's boot, where she was about to step on it. As Hachi landed a blaster shot onto Marion, she stumbled back and slipped on the bomb, falling on it as it exploded. Flip and Rider simultaneously charged a vertical swing and brought it down on her.
