💫Flip I: You Weren't Prepared

Giles quickly ran around the black hole to a side of the dome, and began pounding at it. In the meantime, the squidbeak had the hole to worry about. Just to see what would happen, Verse tossed in a splat bomb. The team watched it as it got sucked in, and slowly disappeared into the void. Goggles shot some ink into the void, but it disappeared too.

The squidbeak looked around the dome for any place to hold on to for when the black hole grew more. They were all relying on Giles. They weren't sure if the crystals would hold them against the black hole's gravity, but chances were it only made things harder because they wouldn't be able to flee. They figured the least they could do was bust themselves out. Perhaps if they fled, they could have the twinklings back on Galaxika combine their power to stop the black hole? Unless of course, the black hole just absorbed it like nothing...

But they had a lead! They began chipping away at the crystal, or tugging on it. Rider was using his dynamo to break out, and he seemed to have the most success with it. The others were still stuck, so Rider tried to go faster so that he could be freed first. Then he would help his allies.

Giles was still scanning the walls for the vault. He was looking for anything that stuck out, and he was trying to go as quickly as possible. He noticed a small handle sticking out of the wall a little further away, and quickly ran over to it. He hoped he had found the hatch, and opened it. Indeed, in front of him was a vault. However, the dial on it was a little broken.

Rider had freed himself, and was now working on everyone else. He could free someone within 3 minutes, but his heart was racing as he did it. What if he didn't have time? What if his friends and allies all died because he couldn't free them? He knew the only thing he could do was keep going anyway. He had a chance.

The void continued to grow. The squidbeak's panic arose more and more. Rider freed Prince and moved onto Gloves. Prince wanted to try and reason with this thing, but it seemed nearly out of the question considering the fact it was Marion's creations. The black hole still hadn't gotten too close to the squidbeak, it was now about the size of a very large pumpkin. Rider soon freed Gloves and moved onto Hachi, and stress rose in him.

Flip looked down at the crystals that held their feet, and tried to turn into squid form, but the crystals wouldn't let her. She DID see cracks in the crystal, though.

"Hey Gloves! Try shooting ink into the cracks in the crystal here!"

Gloves rolled over and did just as Flip asked. Sure enough, the crystals loosened. Flip shook her foot out a bit, and in a minute or so, she got it freed. Gloves and Prince then went on to the rest of everyone to free them. Flip also went to work on the squidbeak. The SSS and Empress were too far away to be hit by the crystals, so they were fine.

Meanwhile, Giles was constantly glancing back and forth at the now table-sized black hole in the center of the room. The place was getting a little bit more shakier, and he needed to hurry up. He kept on twisting the dial in the numbers he remembered with all his might, as the dial had been rusted away with traces of grime. He had gotten one number, he just needed two more. If only he had help...

Enpress looked around her, seeing all the turmoil being caused from the hole. She had an idea, but she wasn't sure if it was the right thing to do. She'd tried it once before and it had worked, but...would it work again? She sighed, clearing her throat. Hopefully she'd be strong enough...
