Breathe. Just Breathe.
It's been two weeks since the "incident". Ein cuddled me in bed. His arms and tail wrapped around me. I smiled and yawned.
"Are you sleepy?" He said rubbing circles into my back. "Yeah just a little." I yawned while stretching. "Sleep (Y/n). Remember I'll be here cuddling you" He said and put his head on my shoulder. I blushed and slowly fell asleep.
*later*
I woke up to the feeling of a hand squeezing my wrist. Not in a hurtful way but more in a protective way. I heard soft crying. I turned to see Ein with tears in his eyes. "Ein what's wrong? What's going on?" I asked concerned.
"(Y/n)....why are you cutting yourself? I thought we've been through this. Do you still care about Aaron?" He said sitting up. I can see he was starting to get angry. "NO! Of course not!!! I love you Ein!" I Said caressing his cheek. He cradled my hand in his hand. "Bullshit! Why are you hurting yourself? Why are you destroying the person I love!" He said through his tears.
I breathed. "Ein....I'm hurting myself because I don't want to lose you." I said. He looked at me confused. I breathed again. "I cut myself because I get anxiety that I know I will lose you to somebody else like I lost Aaron to Aphmau. I just don't want to be alone anymore. And I get scared and hurt myself-" he interrupted me by kissing me softly. Immediately I kissed back shakily.
He pulled away gently and lifted me up. Setting me in his lap he wrapped his arms and tail around me again. He begin to cradled me and give me kisses.
"You mean everything to me (Y/n) you are my world. You lost Aaron because he couldn't see the beauty you brought to his life. But I can perfectly see the the most beautiful, intelligent, radiant, kind, and independent woman right in front of me. That woman is you (Y/n)." He said putting his forehead on mines.
I blushed super red. But smiled. He is the best at comforting me and that's why I realized. I realized that he is the one I was looking for. Not Aaron.
