I watched the proceeding with the fake examiner while standing near Satotz. So you can imagine my surprise when three cards came not only towards Satotz, but myself as well.

"The hell is this for?" I said, my eyebrow twitching.

"Just a test." Was all he said.

"Rokudenashi..." I growled.

He chuckled and I glared. We began to move once more and I sighed when I heard people getting lost in the fog. I closed my eyes and focused on sensing things and people around me.

'Damn it Kenta, you and you're hero complex.' I thought and diverged from the path Satotz was on.

I found them and sighed when I saw Kenta thrown into a tree. I flashed over to him and knelt next to him and checked for injuries.

"Idiots and their hero complex." I muttered and heard a chuckle.

"My, my, you aren't in a good mood."

"Actually I'm as happy as I'll be until we get out of this damn place." I sneered and threw the unconscious idiot over my shoulder.

Just then Gon hit Hisoka with the sinker of his fishing rod. I snorted and walked away with the idiot on my back. I hurried in the direction I knew would show me the way to the second phase. This was bothering me immensely. I caught up to Killua and put myself to an easier stride, Kenta was heavy as all heck. Once we reached the gates I dropped him unceremoniously on the ground causing him to start awake.

"Where is gon? I was sure he would be here..." Killua sighed.

"He will be, I know this for a fact." I stated and Killua looked at me curiously.

Kenta glared at me as I talked to Killua. I turned my head slightly towards him and he cringed.

"Thought so, Kenta." I stated and he flinched.

Time passed slowly, I played dodge the needles with Illumi. It was funny, most couldn't tell but I knew he was annoyed because I got Killua to sit with me and let me mess with his hair, well, not exactly LET, but close enough. He stopped arguing with me after a while. Gon and the others made it just in time, and for that Killua was thankful. I know, I know, I'm evil to poor Killua. Sue me, he's fluffy.

The gates opened and I sighed.

"Here comes the bogus phase, eh, Kenta?"

"Yeah, why can't people know what sushi is? It's really good depending on your preferences." Kenta said and I nodded.

Things went bad fast, when Menchi mentioned sushi. It turned to cooking pork, and people failed one after the other, I sat against the wall and just watched, Kenta sat with me.

"What are you doing?" Kurapika asked us and I looked up.

"It isn't worth it, she'll just fail everyone." I said. "And it's all because someone said something against gourmet hunters."

As I had said everyone who turned something in was failed by Menchi. The current chairman, chairman Netero, came down and interfered, causing Menchi to give a new task. We traveled to mount split-in-half, and we're told to cook dream eggs, as they were called. I looked over the edge and smirked.

"This will be fun." I commented dryly.

I waited until a second draft would be coming and jumped. I caught an egg and began my descent. When the wind blew me up I flew up, I smirked at the people and some choked when I landed on the edge.

"Beat that, boys." She said, directing it to Gon, Killua, Kurapika, Kenta and Leorio.

#nobody's point of view#

Oh, it was on. They thought, as she snickered.
