Song: 'True Blue' by Mark Ronson (feat. Angel Olsen)
Why: Honestly, I think Mark Ronson is an incredible artist. His latest album was full of creative and thoughtful songs and almost all of them have become personal favourites. However, True Blue really takes the cake for me as best song off of that album. The song itself also gives me such an 80's vibe.
When I first heard it, it was a bit difficult to get into, not going to lie. I don't know if it was because of the vocals that sounded a bit distorted, but after listening to it a couple of times I realised how incredible that song really is. The entire song is really well written and the bridge is definitely my favourite part of 'True Blue'.
I highly recommend both the song, and the album (also 'Find U Again' is another great song btw).
Best Line:
'All that you were, all that you lost,
Who ever thought it came with a cost?'
