Why: Honestly the story behind this song is rather pathetic.
It was 2017, and there was this guy I liked. The story of why I liked him was unnecessarily long and rather stupid, but I still really liked him.
You know how sometimes when you're in love with someone, every love song suddenly becomes about them? The crush was like that for me and this song in particular made me feel like I was in love. I played it all the time and I would never stop thinking about him.
Next it's 2018. I've finally gotten over this stupid crush by chanting 'you don't love him' everyday in my head, even if I didn't believe it at the time. I decided to listen to this song again, and I realised something. The song itself is actually great, but I've ruined it.
And now, I can't listen to this song without cringing.
