'Here Comes the Sun' by the Beatles
Why: So as long as I can remember, I've loved the Beatles. This song in particular, was always one of my favourites. I know that even if I am in the most terrible mood imaginable, this song helps, even sometimes if it's only a little. Something about it just makes me feel at peace with the world, and just makes me feel like everything's alright, even if it's just for the minute.
It's also a really good road trip song. I have a vivid memory of being around 9 years old on a long car ride and listening to this song on the radio. It was a really tranquil experience just watching the sun slowly rise in the early hours of the morning and while watching the picturesque landscape roll by.
