Dear,

Tommy Williams

All day I was wondering why Caroline ever got sick, because all she ever did wrong was yell at mom when she left the house. That's no punishment for her. Caroline never gave up and now all of a sudden she's tied to a machine to sustain her, otherwise her body may collapse. Dr. John told us that she will get better but her conditions will worsen. I believe she will give up, and I don't want her to go.

"Sky once I'm gone, go outside and get a bottle of wine and just get drunk for me." Caroline said as she passes me a big bowl of caramelized popcorn to me. I had to put it on my lap because of the weight. I popped a popcorn into my mouth.

"Wine? Why so expensive? How about I get drunk with beer. Now that's approachable." I say as I change the channel to see an episode from Reign.

"Alright you cheep squeak. Have it your way and then make a party." She agrees. She steals a popcorn from my hand and eats it, she gives me an adorable giggle everyone would love because of how contagious it is. I laugh as well.

"Sky listen," Richard said as he threw a green pea at my head with his spork. Which if you were wondering, is a mix between a spoon and fork, a spork.

"What?!" I say aggravated.

"Are you on your period?" He says with laughter. I widen my eyes in shock and can feel my face burning which makes Richard laugh even more.

"No," I say awkwardly.

"You know, you look attractive when you blush," he continues. I face another way so he doesn't know that I'm blushing.

"Aw the little potato is flattered being hit by a guy like me uh?" He teases me and out of nowhere, he brings me into a playful hug and pats me in the head. I push away embarrassed by this.

"Richard," I say trying to get away from his tight hug.

"Say my name, I like it when you say it." He chuckles. I laugh. And then realized it's been along time when I laughed so good like this. I like it that I'm tired from laughing. I like it when I'm getting attention, I like being with someone. I like it.

"Richard, we need to work on this." I point at the math homework. He then releases his arms from me and we work, like nothing ever happened.

Yours truly,

Sky ✉
