Dear
Tommy Williams
Sometimes it takes time to process that one thing into your brain. I stared at Richard wide eyed, I slap my hand to his shoulder as hard as I could.
"You son of a gun!" I scream, a questioning gesture spreads over his face connecting both of his eyebrows together.
"What?" Richard ask as he touches his shoulder. I know he is in pain because his face has gone red.
"WHAT MAKES YOU THINK I- I WANTED A DATE? UH NEVER THOUGHT OF THAT DID YOU?" I say, I swear I could erupt in anger. I shake my head in disappointment. Richard reaches over me but I back away. But in that moment I remembered a quote I have heard before, don't act when you are happy don't say when you are sad.
I take a long deep breath and slowly let it out. I cross my arms and walk in semi circles in no specific direction. I shake my head in denial.
"Why are you so upset? I thought I did you a favor," Richard explains. I let out a small laugh.
"Why are you so obsessed with getting a date for me?" I ask. In that specific moment I stared at his blue eyes, trying to forgive. But this is such an embarrassment for me. "Did I ask you?" I say offended.
"No..." he says with a tone of insecurity.
"You know I don't need a date, Richard."
"Sky?" Angelica asks out of the blue, I turn back to see her. I raise both eyebrows. "Can I tell you something?" She says after a few minutes. She doesn't need an answer because she know she has gotten both Richard's and my attention.
"You should totally forgive this-Richard for his good intentions," She begins. I open my mouth to reject but she speaks just in time. "And you Richard should stay focus on your date and not her, if you really wanted her with a date then you should have asked her." She finished with such pride of what she had just preached. "So Sky, turn around and shake hands and say 'I forgive you' now," she twirls her pointer finger in clockwise. I did what she told. I look at Richard, he was wearing a white t-shirt and red basketball shorts. He gives me one of his side warm smile which won't excuse what he did. He holds his hand in mid air like the same time we first met. I stare at it, I'm about to deny this but it seems Angelica has read my mind.
"Don't you dare," she warns. I weakly rise my pale hands and wrap my fingers to his hand as he does the same. His hands are so soft and warm compared to my cold ones. He slowly shakes it.
"I forgive but I don't forget." I tell him.

It was me who nicely asked Richard to leave.
"Wasn't it easy Sky?" Angelica ask as she finishes her sorting of recycling bin.
"No," I say. I grave a black plastic bag and throw what ever is not recyclable or contains the recycle symbol.
"Sure it was." Angelica replies with enthusiasm.
"Sure." I say not agreeing with her. Completely.
"So do you think, Tom said yes to you? I mean wouldn't every guy do. And doesn't he have a girlfriend?" She ask confused.
"No, no and no, to answer your questions." I say as I knot the bag securing that no plastic bag will fall and scatter the clean place.
"I hate community service, and what if he askd you?"
"I will say no of course." I finally answer.
Yours truly,
