Amelia frowned at the file that Fury had given her to look over. She looked at Fury then back at the file. She sighed and rubbed her face.
"Nick, we don't do human experimentation. We haven't for 40 years." Amelia said looking at him. Fury looked at her with a slightly humorous look.
"Ma'am its 2014." Amelia raised an eyebrow at him.
"Why am I being shown this folder?" She asked.
"This project is still active. I tried to trace the source and it came back to SHIELD." Fury said to her. "Read what the bottom says." Amelia scanned it then her head snapped up to Fury.
"Privacy." The windows went black and the room shut down. "Are you accusing Secretary Pierce of being HYDRA?"
"I'm not 100% sure I'm just asking you to look into it. SHIELD did recruit a lot of HYDRA agents after the war." Fury said.
"And they grew under our noses. I told Howard this would happen." She sighed as she sat back down. "I'll take your request into consideration and look into these files. Lift privacy mode." The doors opened and a knock was heard. "Come in." Secretary Pierce walked in and looked between them.
"What did I miss something?" He asked her.
"No but we are gonna to talk. Here is the missions list Nick." Amelia said handing the list to Fury. She wrote a note on a piece of paper and handed it to him. "Give this to Natasha. That's all dismissed." Fury nodded at her then left.
"Is there a problem?" Pierce asked her with a smile.
"A file locked by your security code has been brought to my attention. Until I have further reviewed the project I am shutting it down. It's being labeled danger to the public until further notice. You will send me all files on the project and if I feel I am not receiving them you will not enjoy it. Human experimentation hasn't been allowed for 40 years. I expected better." She said crossing her arms and sitting back. Pierce looked at her and nodded at her.
"I will get them for you when I go back to my office Ma'am." Pierce said.
"Thank you. I'm sure it's nothing but it needs to be shut down. Now down to business." She said switching the folders she was looking at. "I spoke to King T'Chaka they are slowly getting the vibranium back. Are there any new targets that need to be added to the watch list?"-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Natasha knocked on Amelia's door and waited for her to be called in.
"I'll get on those files Ma'am." Pierce said before he left smiling at Natasha.
"Hey Lia." She said as she came in and sat down. Amelia was rubbing her head as she looked at the file. "What do you need?"
"Privacy." Lia said shutting the room down like she did earlier. "Let's talk about the Winter Soldier."-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
