Chapter 25

We walked to Nash's black suburban and he held the door open for me. "Thank you." I said getting in. He shut the door and went to the drivers seat. He got in and started driving.

"Where are we going?" I asked. He shook his head, "Can't tell you" He said with a smirk. I rolled my eyes and giggled.

I was looking out the window when I felt a bigger hand touch mine.I looked down and Nash's hand wrapped around my with our fingers locked. I smiled to myself and continued to look out the window.

20 minutes of small talk and driving we finally arrived to wherever we were eating.

Nash got out of the car and quickly ran to my door before I could put my hand on the handle. He opened the door, smiling at me. I thanked him. He grabbed my hand and we walked to the restaurant. It was down the block so I still had no idea what it was.

We finally got to it and it was Gina's diner (No idea if this is a real thing.) I smiled to myself. When Matt stayed with me while the guys were planning the funeral he talked about this restaurant. He told me it has the best sandwiches in the world. Matt would non-stop talk about it.

Nash opened the door for me and lead me to a table. He pulled the chair back for me and I sat down, thanking him. It was cute little diner. Somewhat fancy, but not too fancy.

A older women waiter came to our table right as we sat down. "Hello my name is Beth and I'll be your waiter today. Can I start you off with something to drink?" She asked.

"I'll have a lemonade" I smiled at her.

"Same" Nash smiled.

"Okay I'll be right back with those." She said before walking away. I grabbed a menu and started looking at what I wanted.

After a minute of looking Nash broke the silence. "What are you gonna get?"

I put the menu down still looking at it. "Probably the turkey and avocado sandwich. Matt was telling me about how this place has the best sandwiches." I laughed. Nash laughed, "Yeah the sandwiches are so good."

The waiter came back and put our drinks down. "Are you all ready to order?" We nodded our heads and Nash started, "I'll have the ham and swiss sandwich."

"I'll have the turkey and avocado sandwich."

She wrote down the orders and told us they should be done soon.

"Your aunt called before..." I finished sipping my lemonade, "What did she say?"

"She was just saying she wanted to talk to you after our date."I smiled, "She knows we are on a date?"

"Yeah" He blushed. I reached across the table and grabbed his hand. We talked for awhile until our food came.

Matt was so right it was the best sandwich I had. We barley talked while devouring our sandwiches.

We finally finished and our bill came. Nash payed and we left. We got to Nash's car, of course he opened the door for me because he is a gentlemen, and started driving.

Nash pulled out his phone and dialed Shawn's number to ask where we should meet up.

"Hey man!" Shawn said into the speaker phone.

"Hey! Chloe and I just ended our dinner. So where are you guys?"

"We are at Taylor's place. Even though his house isn't done yet he wanted to host it there." He said laughing. Nash chuckled and shook his head, "Probably wants to show off the place."
