Chapter 34

We got into Mahogany's car and I sat in front.

"Hi guys!" She said when we got in.

"Hey." We said back.

"So where are we going?" I asked.

"We are going to see Mocking Jay and then get dinnaaaa." She sang I laughed and nodded my head. "Is that okay with you, Tina?" Mahogany asked.

"Yeah that's fine with me!" She smiled.

I smiled to myself. Mahogany is gonna notice how nice she really is.

We pulled up to the movie theater and went in. We bought our tickets and went inside the movie area.

The movie was so good! The only downside of it was that Tina was on her phone the whole time texting. We got into the car and Mahogany asked, "Who were you texting the whole time?"

"Just Nash." She responded while texting.

Mahogany looked at me, I gave her a reassuring nod that everything was okay. She started the car and we drove to Subway for something fast because it was late.

We went inside and ordered our subs. We sat down and I asked, "What did you guys think of the movie?" While taking a bite into my sub.

"I thought it was amazing! I can't wait for part 2!" Mahogany exclaimed. I turned to Tina, "What did you think of it of the parts you saw when you weren't texting." I joked.

She looked up from her phone and gave me a slightly bitter laugh. "Good I guess."

Mahogany's phone started ringing and she answered it. "Hello?" She asked swallowing her bite. "Yeah, what's up?...I mean I guess."

She handed me the phone. I gave her a odd look and took it. "Hello?"

"Chloe! I kept calling you and you didn't answer." Matt said.

"Sorry my phone is off. We just got done seeing a movie."

"What movie?" He asked like a little kid.

"Mocking Jay Part 1."

"What and I wasn't invited?!" I laughed, "Sorry! Maybe we can see it again with you sometime."

"Yay good!" He cheered from the other line. "But I called to see how you are feeling and if you took your medicine?"

"Yeah I feel better. It's weird I think it just cleared out my stomach from everything I ate in the past couple of days." I sighed, "But I did not I forgot. I will tomorrow I promise!"

"Oh trust me you will because me and the guys are coming over tomorrow. I'm gonna be by you and make sure you take them!" I laughed, "Will do, Espinosa. I got to go I'm eating a sub. Bye!"

"I want a sub!" He said when I hung up. I laughed more and handed Mahogany back her phone.

"What was that all about?" She asked.

"Matt called wanting to know if I felt better and if I took my medicine, which I didn't." Mahogany sighed, "You need to take that every day Chloe."

"I know, I know. I will tomorrow." I said taking a bite out of my sub. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Tina looking at me and smirking. Weird. We finished eating and left to go back to the apartment.

Mahogany pulled up in front of the building, "Bye guys! Text me later."

I questionably looked at her. "You aren't coming in?"
