3rd person
The sound of a phone dropping resonated throughout the empty balcony was all you could hear.
Sana felt her heart drop as if it was crushed by the phone that just slipped from her hand. Her lips quiver in fear as tears started to fog and blur her eyes. She felt all her strength go away once she heard those words as her knees involuntarily give up, causing her to drop to the ground.
The Japanese woman held her chest as if it would try and lessen her pain of her heavy heart, yet she knew nothing would stop it. Her breathing became ragged and uneven as she stared at the pale wall in front of her.
She couldn't believe it.
She couldn't believe that she was associated with people who killed someone, someone who her girlfriend loved and cherished deeply.
"N-No, it can't be true." Sana mumbles to herself as she bites her fingernails while she felt her a river of tears streaming down her face.
The young CEO scurries and picks up her slightly shattered phone and saw that her father still hasn't hung up. She closed her eyes as more tears continue to fall down to the cold pavement she was kneeling on.
"P-Please tell me you're l-lying." Sana asked her father as her voice broke from the crying session that just occurred. She heard her father heave a deep sigh.
"I-I wish I was, darling." Her father cooed in a defeated yet sweet tone.
Sana felt her heart getting crushed and punched by the words that her father uttered. She closed her eyes as a new set of fresh tears stream down to her face.
The Japanese was never this emotional. Keeping and bottling all her emotions to herself was her specialty, but this one event made all her walls break down, making her vulnerable for the first time in years.
Suddenly, the image of Y/N looking broken while talking about her deceased mother played in her mind like a broken tape. She felt her heart clench in pain as she sobs more into the phone, letting her father hear her suffering.
Resentment and rage started to invade Sana's emotions as she held the phone tighter than ever before spitting out words that was caused by her displeasure.
"WHY?" Sana shouted will all the anger she could muster. She heard her father's distressed voice.
"Remember the night you and your brother got into a car crash?" Her father said in a gentle an soft tone, knowing that the subject was very sensitive. Sana tenses up and sobs even more into the phone when she remembered her past.
