Sana and Y/N were currently in their office. Saying that there's a strained and awkward silence is an understatement.

Y/N sighs deeply and massaged her temples in attempt to sooth the lingering pain in her head, maybe even in her heart. She briefly looked at the clock above Sana and saw it was already 9:00 in the evening. She realised it was already late and proceeded to look down, causing her to unintentionally peer over at Sana.

They both froze as they just stare at each other. Y/N gulps the lump of her throat as the coldness in her eyes visibly melt into the warmth and concerning gaze of the pink haired beauty. Sana presses her lips in a thin line as her pupils dilate from finally getting the chance to stare at Y/N's orbs. Y/N lets out a rigid and painful breath before clenching she clenches her fists and looking down on her desk.

The flashbacks of her mother's bloody body lifelessly lying down in their kitchen were suddenly playing inside her mind like a broken tape.

Y/N closes her laptop in a panicked manner while Sana stares at her with a frown. Y/N stood up and aggressively shoved all her things inside her backpack. Sana stood up and immediately went in front of Y/N once she saw her tears twinkle in the lights.

"H-Hey." Sana stammered while she stood in front of Y/N to make her stay. Y/N doesn't dare to look at her and just nods her head.

"It's getting late. I should go home. You should too since you're going to be busy tomorrow, Sana." Y/N says everything so unambiguously that Sana flinched.

Sana just stared at her, not knowing what to say or do. Y/N slowly shook her head and sauntered away from the young Minatozaki. The pink haired beauty got surprised and ran to block her office door to make Y/N stay inside her office. She pushed Y/N's shoulders and locked the door using her hands that were behind her back. Y/N frowns and scratches her eye brow, confused and a tad bit annoyed with what Sana is doing.

"How long are you gonna avoid me?" Sana asked in a sharp and demanding tone. At this point, she knew she needed an explanation and an answer from Y/N. Y/N raised an eyebrow on the Japanese.

"I-I need time, Sana." Y/N said through gritted teeth and softly tried to push Sana away from the door. Sana shook her head aggressively and held a tight grip on Y/N's face as she stares at her fiery orbs.

"I-I'm sorry, okay? I know you're going through a lot right now. I can help you, b-but if you want time, then go ahead." Sana's orbs were filled with tenderness and devotion. Her doting smile made Y/N feel tranquility.

"Thank you." Y/N said and leaned in to hug Sana tightly. Sana widened her foxy eyes and melts into the warmth of Y/N's hug. She wraps her arms around her neck and gently laid her head on her shoulder, suddenly feeling all the love Y/N radiated.

While the clueless and astounded Sana was unaware of her surroundings, Y/N sneakily took of her hands off of Sana's petite waist and twisted the doorknob open. She lightly pushes away Sana and bolted out of her office leaving Sana flabbergasted and devastated with the employees present outside utterly confused.

"Aish, Y/N Y/LN."

"YAH! Sana did nothing to you, yet you're out here really being a bitch to her." Tzuyu stated in an irked tone as she pointed her chopsticks with ramen on it. Y/N shook her head while she stayed sat on their dorm's chair.

"You should be mad at her grandparents, not her. The girl did absolutely nothing and you're making her feel guilty." Jihyo said in a circumspect tone, not wanting to offend Y/N.

Y/N averted her eyes with a sigh to Dahyun and Chaeyoung who were playing games on their phone while sitting in their living room. She stood up from her chair without a word and left Jihyo and Tzuyu dumbfounded with her actions.

Tzuyu stares at Jihyo before following Y/N inside her own room. The Taiwanese shuts the girl's door gently once they entered her room. Y/N lets out an irritated groan and sat on the edge of her bed.

"You and I both know that Sana did nothing and was clueless about this, so I suggest that you communicate with her before things go to shit." Tzuyu stated in a savage yet cautious tone. Y/N nods her head sadly, still thinking about what Sana said in their office.

"How are you and Elkie?" Y/N suddenly asks, greatly astonishing Tzuyu. The Taiwanese blushes wildly and rubs the back of her neck. Y/N curved a small smile once she saw her reaction.

"We're... fine." Tzuyu says while taking a seat beside Y/N. Y/N snorts and mocks Tzuyu.

"How are you and Sana?" Tzuyu says with a slight glower. Y/N sighs deeply for nth time.

"I've been avoiding her. I don't know, whenever I see her I get reminded of... my mom." Y/N says in a traumatised and defeated tone. Tzuyu rubs her back comfortingly.

"I might sound rude, but forgive and forget, Y/N." Y/N was shocked of what Tzuyu just said. Her face turned red and she clenches her fists in pure resentment and indignation.

"HOW COULD I FORGIVE AND FORGET? THEY MURDERED MY MOTHER!" Y/N's mood spiralled down once she heard what Tzuyu just uttered. Tzuyu shook her head.

"I know, I know. Your mother was great, she wanted the best for you. I hope you know that revenge wouldn't be the thing she would want." Tzuyu says in a discouraged and distressed tone. Y/N stood up in a hostile stance with her hands pulling out her hair.

"S-Should I break up with her?" Tzuyu was infuriated and discombobulated at what her best friend just said.

"Are you stupid?! Why the fuck would you do that?!" This time it was Tzuyu's turn to shout at Y/N for thinking such a foolish thing.

"Becau-" Y/N was cut off by Tzuyu's loud voice and words that left her flummoxes and speechless.

"If you won't love her, then I will."
