Chapter 3

Echo POV

I watched as he left, he definitely wasn't the same person he was. And it's all their fault. I glare at the heroes and the red head woman.

"You're all a bunch of ass holes. You're dumb and ignorant. I'm done here, don't you dare call me for anything. The only thing I need from you is the dragon hour glass to know when the waves are coming." I spat at them before turning around and walked out finding my party.

"I trust you, so I hope non of you do what that woman just did." I say looking at all of them before sighing.

"We're leaving. How could we get out of here fast?" I ask.

"Well I do have a wagon still we'll need a filolial or a dragon to push it I don't know of any places here that sell horses." Akashi says making me hum. Now where could I get one of these?

"Is there anyway for us to buy one? But I want to watch it grow and get the full experience." I say.

"Well that would take a bit of time but I do know someone that sell dragon and filolial eggs." Hana says as I smile.

"Lead the way then!" I say as she nods and starts walking over to a stand with a lot of white big eggs.

"Hana!" Said the woman behind the stand smiling.

"Hello Sora." Hana says with a kind smile.

"Oh, who's this?" The woman asked looking at me.

"Oh, this is Echo the chain hero, she wants an egg to raise." Hana says.

"Really?! It's an honor to meet you miss Echo, I'd be honored if you raised one of these eggs!" I smile at her and looked at the eggs.

"How much for one of them?" I ask.

"Oh it's on the house!" I blink.

"You really don't have to." I say but she only smiled.

"I mean it, pick whichever you want." She said and I look at them before picking one of them.

"This one, I have a good feeling." I say.

"Of course!" She says taking the egg and putting it in an incubator.

"Thank you." I say giving her a smile before looking down at the egg.

"It was no problem! Thank you Miss Echo." She says making me frown.

"There's no need to call me Miss, you can just call me Echo." I say as she quickly nodded.

"Well we must be going. Is there a cheap inn around here? You'll have to bunk 2 in one room is that alright?" I ask looking at them.

"No complaints from us, the more money we have left the better but I suggest that once that's done we go sell that monster skin we have, we'll get at least a silver for each." Akashi says making me smile and nod.

"That's a good idea." I say as we continued to walk, soon we made our way there and ordered 4 rooms in order to keep peace the girls bunked together and the guys bunked together while I was alone. As soon as we were settled I told them we'd be going to the same woods as yesterday to level up a bit more. They were all an amazing bunch and oh though I was right about Kaito and Subaru looking like trouble they're still my trouble guys, the only thing they love is fighting and because of that they were the strongest ones.

When night was right around the corner I told them to head back to the hotel while Akashi, Ryou and me dealt with the monster skin since they were the best ones at bargaining and I could learn. We went to different shops because for big amounts they tend to lower the pay for them. By the end of it we made about 300 silver for them which was definitely something. Soon we made it back to the inn and we all ate together.

"This is a treat for all your work so eat up." I say smiling at them as they returned it and started eating. We actually had fun before going to bed but, I woke up to something cuddling to me confusing me for a second before getting up and noticing the egg had hatched.. that was fast! I look at my side to see a small black dragon with wings cuddling in a ball there.

"Well aren't you adorable." I say petting his head with one finger waking him up just to fly to my shoulder and cuddle again making me giggle.

"We have work to do." I say getting up and dressed before going to the others room. I asked them to take me towards the dragon hour glass to know when the wave was coming and soon we were there. My chains reacted to it but that wasn't all, the dragon hour glass also reacted to Kuro, yes I named him Kuro. I see him shining a red color on my shoulder before he went back to normal making me tilt my head, what the hell was that? I see the count starting at the upper right corner of my vision.

"Alright I got it. Thank you." I say to the woman who walked me here and walk away to the exit where my party was waiting.

"We have about a week until the next wave. Tell me, these waves don't only happen here do they?" I ask petting Kuro on my shoulder, I'm still wondering what that light was.

"Uh, no. Echo." I look at Mika who suddenly bowed making me raise a brow.

"I ask of you please.. come to my village for the next wave. I'm aware that this is a selfish request but after the first wave we were almost whipped out and I'm sure the king doesn't care about that and non of the other heroes would do it, I'm sure of that. So please I-" I cut her off placing a hand on her shoulder.

"I thought I told all of you to not treat me like royalty, bowing goes against that rule. There's no need to bow for something like this. I was summoned to this world to help and I intend to do it. So lead the way to your village. We'll come back here after the wave and Kuro is grown to get Akashi's wagon." I say smiling at her as tears went down her face.

"There's no need to cry, now come, we don't have much time." I say as she nodded and we started our journey to her village.
