Your POV

"Hey! Watch it or else I'll smash you!" I threatened. Some guy had just ran right into me, and everyone knows never to cross me.

I pushed past him, but he grabbed my arm, with his hook. "Why hello there (Y/N)! How are ye on this fine morning?"

"I'm fine. Now can you please let go of my arm? "

"Fine. See ye at the town square for VK Day." And with that, he sauntered away in his usual Harry Hook manner.

Ha, he thought I was going to VK Day. Yeah right. Every year, four more VK's are chosen to come to Auradon, and it seems as though nearly all my childhood acquaintances are there right now. Even Harry's friends, Uma and Gil, were chosen last year. Not that I care.

Now there are just under a hundred VK's left, which means the chance for anyone going to Auradon is still very low. Why would I want to go watch four lucky ducks go ride in a fancy limo across a magical bridge to attend a real school? Although... Maybe I should still watch. Maybe Harry is chosen to go, which means I wouldn't have to worry about him anymore.

Later that day

I quickly and quietly made my way over to the town square. It was almost time for four new privileged kids to leave the Isle and go to Auradon. I hid behind a crumbling building, so no one would see me. Suddenly, I felt a semi-sharp metal point poke my shoulder.

I whirled around, only to see none other than Harry Hook, with a sly grin on his face.  "Who's- Argh! Why are you here?"

"I could ask the same thing te you, (Y/N)."

"I'm here to see which other lucky kids get to go to Auradon Prep. Why else would I be here?"

"I know that, I'm just wondrin' why you're hidin' behind a buildin'."

"Oh, that. I didn't want anyone to see me."

"Why?"

"Well, I..." Great. I don't have an excuse. Wait a minute, why am I hiding behind a building anyway? "I was just waiting here until the limo arrives."

"Sure, whatever ye say." Just as Harry stopped speaking, a shiny black limo honked its horn, and drove into the town square. "Looks like the limo has arrived. What d'ye say we head over?"

Did he really just say 'we' should head over, as in together? Not if I can help it. "Uh, no. I'm going by myself. Why would I go with you?"

He grinned. "Ye loss." He turned away, and strode away towards the crowd of people.

Ugh. He really is a pain in the butt. Hopefully he does end up going to Auradon. Then I wouldn't have to be annoyed by his irritating comments.

Suddenly, I heard car doors slam. "I should probably get over there." I mumbled to myself.

So, I began moseying on over to the huge mob of people, only to look up and see Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos at the top of a non-crumbling building.

"Hello everyone!" Mal announced, and everyone cheered. "I'm sure all of you know why we are here. It's VK Day!!!" More cheering erupted from the crowd.

"I bet all of you wonderful people are anxious to know which VK's we will be taking with us today," Evie declared. "So, here they are! First off, there is Abigail Hearts, daughter of the Queen of Hearts."

"Second, there is Paul, son of Pete," Carlos remarked.

"Third, there is Harry Hook, son of Captain Hook," Jay announced.

Yes! Harry is going to Auradon! Woo hoo!

"And last but not least, (Y/N), daughter of Hans," Mal added.

Wait, who was that last person? It can't be me. Can it?

Just then, I heard a Scottish accent coming from behind me. "Well, it looks like we will be goin' to Auradon," he leaned over to whisper in my ear, "Together."
