Your POV

Harry and I walked back to the campus, his arm around my shoulder. Yawning, I glanced at the sky. The moon was full and bright, hinting that it must be late at night.

"Hey Harry, we should probably head back to the dorms. It's really late." I expressed, while suppressing another yawn.

"Of course lass. I'm tired te," he replied, leading us back in the direction of the dorms.

I unlocked my door, trying not to make a sound. To my surprise, Maddy was nowhere to be found.

"Huh," I wondered aloud.

"Looks like ye roommate is nowhere te be found," Harry said, stating the obvious.

"Shhh, keep it down! We're out way past curfew."

"Ye know we are literally te steps away from bein' inside, right."

"Oh. Yeah." I shuffled my feet, not really knowing what to say. "Well... Um... you should probably go. It's not getting any earlier."

"Aye, I guess ye right. I should head back."

Quickly, I waved to Harry, and quietly closed the door behind me. But my mind was someplace so far away I didn't catch the kiss he blew me.

All I could think about was where Maddy would possibly be.

Harry's POV

I waved to (Y/N) as she closed the door behind her, and blew her a kiss she didn't seem to notice. Sighing, I began walking towards the boy's dorms, deep in thought. Finally it seems as though I've broken through (Y/N)'s tough exterior, but not much farther. Hopefully soon I'll be able to reach deeper inside her heart.

I was just about to reach for the shiny silver door handle that sparkled in the moonlight when I heard rustling coming from the bushes next to the building.

Slowly I turned around, lifting my hook slightly in front of me like I was preparing for battle.

"Who's there?" I asked, eyeing the bushes for signs of who or what made that rustling sound.

"Wouldn't you like to know," a masculine voice replied from directly behind me.

I whirled around, suddenly face-to-face with a boy who appeared close to my age. He had orangey hair, green eyes, and a big, round nose. Something about him seemed to be... Familiar.

"Who are ye, and what are ye doin' sneakin' up on me?" I questioned, narrowing my eyes.

"Wouldn't you like to know that as well," he remarked, as a smirk creeped onto his face.

I growled, and took a step closer to him. "Yes, I would 'like te know."

"Hm, well in that case, who I am is none of your concern. And my motives for stalking you are, well, you'll figure those out soon enough. All you need to know at this particular moment is to stay as far away from (Y/N) as you can."

Okay, who the hell is this guy? "How do ye know (Y/N), and why should I listen te ye?"

"Why should I tell you?"

"Because if ye don't," I moved closer to him still, placing the tip of my hook on his neck and whispered, "I'll hook ye until ye bleed te death."

"You don't scare me," he spat, pushing himself away from my hook, and strolled back in the direction of the forest (Y/N) and I came from. What is he up to?

I don't know, and it's my job to find out.

Your POV

I woke up to the sound of a door creaking open at the crack of dawn. Only opening one eye, I saw a dark silhouette of a girl tiptoeing into the dorm.

I shot up, sending the blankets that were on my bed flying to the floor next to my nightstand. "Who's there?" I asked, fearfully.

"Oh! You're up!" she exclaimed, putting on a fake smile. I couldn't see it, but I could sense it. "It's Maddy. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you. I was just... Using the bathroom."

"Outside? We have a bathroom attached you know."

"Do we? I've never noticed. Anyway, we should probably get back in bed. Good night!" she quickly covered herself in her blankets, pretending to go to sleep.

"Okay..." I muttered to myself. Clearly she was doing something other than using the bathroom.

I grabbed the covers off the ground, and buried myself inside of their fluffy warmth.

But, just when I was about to fall aleep, I heard some rustling coming from the other side of the dorm. Using one eye, I looked, only to see Maddy quietly slipping out of bed and wandering into the bathroom.

Yep. Something is definitely going on here.

And it's my job to find out.
