Four weeks after the date
The hours waiting for a plane to land was something Shawn had never loved in his life, he didn't know what to do or how to make the time go faster since the only thing he wants to do right now is be next to Arden and watch movies with her, seeing her fall asleep while trying so hard not to close her eyes because she loves seeing the movie and sing all the songs with it.
"Shawn I know you are dreaming about your lovely girlfriend but right now I need you to listen to me and help me out because I need to know what I need to do about this situation I was telling you about. Could you maybe just act like you are listening to me so I feel worthy enough to listen to, it isn't hard man just do it now because it will be helpful for your girlfriend in the future." Shawn didn't know what his best friend Brian had said to him so he just nodded his head and stared outside of his window hoping time would pass by.
"So as I was saying and you have totally heard all of what I said before, I am going to continue my story and you need to listen to me and give me some advice afterwards that I probably won't follow afterwards since you are crappy at advice and I am the worst listener ever." After a few words he has stopped listening to him and remembered himself of the past few days that he had spend at his hometown with his parents and old friends.
He wasn't sure how he was going to tell Colt about all the things that had happened without him. Colt couldn't join him to Canada because he needed his time in LA with his sister who was scared of planes after the plane crash she had a few years ago. He couldn't leave her alone and we both knew that he looked forward to see Quincy more than once a week, he couldn't stop talking about her and how good her food was and how amazing she was and all Shawn could think of was that he could spend time with Arden while he was stuck with his old friends and family.
It is not that he didn't like being with his friends but he would have loved it more if she could be with him. He doesn't know what she has over him but he wanted her to see his family so badly, he wants her to be with him all the time so he could introduce her to everybody and be happy all the time. He just wants to be happy and he was sure that she was the one who made him happier than anybody else could in his life.
"The plane will be landing in a few seconds and I am pretty sure that you are as happy as your smile is right now and I just want to ask you to not pee because of how excited you are right now. Also I think you need to introduce me to your lovely girlfriend because you couldn't stop thinking about her and you didn't know when to stop and your smile when she texted you was a million worth. So I want to meet that unlucky lady for sure." Shawn rolled his eyes at Brian who had his phone in his hands so he could read all the messages Arden had texted him in those past few days.
