Reid

The ringing in your ears kept you from closing your eyes as you received another gunshot wound. Morgan crouched down beside you as he fired back at the unsub. " Stay with me y/n," Morgan commented as he looked at your wounds. He applied pressure to the wound on your abdomen as he radioed for an ambulance. " Morg, I don't think I am gonna make it," you rasped out as you looked into his eyes. " No you are gonna survive this and have babies with our other genius," Morgan sniffled as he applied more pressure to your wound. The sound of an ambulance pulling up had you look away. The paramedics rushed over and set you on a gurney and loaded you into the ambulance. JJ climbed into the back and took your hand trying to calm your nerves. " you have to tell Reid if I don't make it, promise me," you choked out as you fought the pain. She nodded before it all went black.

The sound of beeping machines filled your ears as you slowly sat up. There was a stinging pain and you flinched back. The sound of a chair moving made you slowly turn to the right. " hey how do you feel?" Spencer asked as he hovered over you unsure of what to do. " I feel horrible and I probably look worse," you mumbled with a chuckle. Spencer let out a small chuckle before he sat back down in his seat. " How long was I out, where's the team?" you asked as you adjusted the bed to sit up but not too much. Looking down at your abdomen you noticed your side was heavily bandaged and you took in your cast covered leg. " you were out for a few hours, the team is in the lobby waiting," reis said as he stood up and making his way to the door. " I am gonna tell them you're up and then I will be back later," he said as he opened the door giving you a small smile before walking out. 

shortly the team filled the room all carefully hugging you. " That was reckless y/n and I want you to know that if you pull a stunt like that again you will be suspended," Emily said sternly before getting up and leaving the room. Nodding you looked at the rest of the team. " I am glad you made it through surgery Lil mama," Morgan said as he looked down at his hands. Your blood covered his hands and you let out a small joke. " Morg I guess you were caught red-handed," Everyone laughed as he and Garcia made their way to the hall. JJ sat down on the edge of the bed and gave you a knowing look. " Jj I know I need to tell him but he doesn't like me like that, I am glad you rode with me to the hospital," you said as you fiddled with the iv in your arm. " y/n that man is head over in heels for you and of course I would ride with my sister to the hospital," Jj said as she leaned forward and gave you a hug. Smiling you pulled back and wiped a tear away as there was a knock on the door. JJ turned to give Spencer a small smile before getting up with the promise of coming back later. 

Reid walked in and held something behind his back. " Spencer, what are you hiding?" you asked as you watched him make his way over. He smiled widely before he sat on the hospital bed. " I know we are great friends and you may not feel the same about me but I need you to know I love you," he said as he pulled out a small stuffed bear with a rose. Tearing up you took his hand in yours. " Spencer I have loved you since I took your class at Harvard," you said as you kissed him softly. Spencer let out a small chuckle as he pulled back and placed some hair behind your ear. " so where does this leave us?" Spencer asked as he looked down at his hands. Shrugging you lifted his chin to look at you as you said: " Well I need to heal and then maybe we can go on a date," Instantly he smiled and kissed your forehead.

You were discharged from the hospital and told you had to have help. " Jj why did you tell me to ask Spencer to help me?" you asked over the phone while you waited for Spencer to get your car. " You guys told each other about your feelings so I think it's a good idea," JJ said before hanging up. Spencer pulled up to the curb and got out helping you in the car. The car ride to your house was long and you grew tired. Falling asleep you dreamed of Spencer. His voice coaxed you from your slumber as he pulled into your driveway. " we are here y/n do you need me to carry you to the house?" Reid asked he turned the car off. " I think I can walk to the house," you said only convincing yourself. Spencer got out and made his way to your front door unlocking it. He made his way back to the car stopping to open your door and help you out. You tried taking a step and fumbled causing Spencer to chuckle. He gently picked you up and carried you to the house. Sitting you on the couch he made his way back outside to lock the car. 

Sitting on the couch you pulled out your phone texting Jj. { n/n- Home now Spencer carried me inside.} you said as you tried to get comfortable. Your phone dinged with a return message { Jaybird- That's so cute, make sure you use protection} sighing you threw your phone on the couch and trie standing. Wobbling you made your way to the kitchen, where Spencer was pulling stuff from the fridge. " What are you doing Spence?" you asked as you sat on a stool. " I wanted to make you something to eat to help you heal," he said as he pulled out some pans. Smiling you started to stand up when Spencer rushed to your side. " You need to take it easy, go sit on the couch and I will make you something to eat," Spencer softly ordered before kissing your cheek. 

Half an hour later Spencer emerged from the kitchen with a full tray of food. " I didn't know what you liked the most so I made you a fajita platter and some rice," He said as he set the food down and sat next to you. " Spence you didn't have to do all this," you said as you started building a fajita. Spencer watched you eat and he smiled before getting up to get some. He returned and sat next to you while he ate. " I am glad to have you here with me while I heal," you said as you set your food aside. Spencer smiled and set his food on the coffee table and took your face in his hands. " I love you and I will always be here for you," Spencer said before kissing you passionately. Pulling back you smiled and cupped his cheek, " I will always love you, Spencer Reid," you said truthfully before turning to grab your food. Thinking for a second you said " Love and fajita's how funny," Spencer let out a soft chuckle.
