Spencer X Reader

Walking into the house you set your bag down. Shrugging your coat off you called out to your husband " babe are you here?" With no answer, you made your way through the house. Checking every room you searched for Spencer. Coming back into the kitchen you noticed the sliding glass doors to the backyard open. Your BAU training kicked in as you pulled out your gun. Stepping closer you glanced outside to see a Lanky figure standing to the side of the doors. " If you don't wanna be shot I suggest you make yourself known," you called out as you stepped closer to the opening. Stepping into the backyard you turned the corner to confront the man. The lights flicked on illuminating the backyard and Spencer. " Woah babe why do you got your gun drawn?" Spencer asked as he stepped closer. Sighing you holstered the gun and made your way over to where he was standing. " I thought someone was trying to break in," you said as he kissed your forehead. Chuckling he pulled you close and turned you to look away from him. " Close your eyes, I got a surprise for you," Spencer said as he placed his hands on your shoulders. Smiling you covered your eyes heard faint voices whispering before Spencer said " Ok open them," Opening your eyes you were presented with your team members. " Happy Birthday." they all cheered and clapped. 

" Oh my gosh, you guys remembered," you said as you hugged everyone. Spencer chuckled behind you as he sat down. Sitting next to him you took his hand. " How could we forget your birthday with Spence reminding us every day," JJ said as she sat down next to you. Everyone sat down under the gazebo. " Sounds like my Spencer to remind everyone," you chuckled as everyone talked quietly. Spencer leaned down and kissed your forehead. Snuggling into his embrace you listened to all your friends talking. " So what does the amazing Spencer Reid have planned?" Morgan asked as he smirked at the both of you. Spencer smiled and got up and headed inside to grab something. Soon he walked out with a cake and started singing happy birthday. Smiling you teared up at the love and support of your friends and husband. " Blow out the candles," Garcia said as she held up her camera. Smiling you blew out the candles and kissed Spencer.  

Handing out the cake you talked about everything. Spencer ate some of his cake before turning to gaze at you. " I know you have been struggling lately, but I also knew that you have tried to put on a brave face and smile for all of us," he said as he gently stroked your cheek and gazed down at you with adoration and love. " I also know you have something you have tried to keep a secret," Spencer said before he placed a hand on your small bump. Everyone looked around before you finally spoke " You know me so well Baby, I am pregnant." you excitedly smiled as it sunk in with everyone. " yay baby Reid's are gonna be coming." Garcia squealed as she shot up from her seat. Everyone laughed and clapped. " So when did you find out?" Emily asked as she took your hand in hers. " Well I found out a few weeks ago but I didn't know how to tell you all, sure JJ figured it out first but I made her keep it a secret," you said as you gave her a small smile.  JJ threw her hands up and shook her head saying " No actually Spencer figured it out and told me then I kept the secret." Smirking you glanced up at your blushing husband. " Of course he figured it out first," Rossi said as he took a sip of his wine. " Oh let's do gifts," Hotch said as he glanced at the bag by his feet. Everyone nodded and handed you gift after gift. JJ gave you some parenting books, Garcia gave you a photo frame with a picture of you and Spencer on your wedding day. Hotch gave you a gift card to the local bookstore. Morgan and Emily gave you baby onesies. Rossi gave you some Italian movies. " Wow these are all so nice thank you guys," you said as you set them on the table. " Well, it's getting late so we should all be getting home," Hotch said as he stood up. Nodding you stood up and gave everyone a hug as they got their stuff to leave. Spencer brought all the gifts inside as you walked them to the door. " See you all tomorrow," you said before shutting the door. 

Turning to help Spencer put the cake away you smiled. He had it all put away and was locking the sliding back doors. " Thank you so much, baby,"  you said as he outstretched his hand for you to take. PUlling you close he turned on the radio. Thinking out loud by Ed Sheeran started playing as you placed your arms around Spencer's neck. His hands rested on your waist as you both began to softly sway to the music. " Thanks for the surprise party," you said as you rested your head on his chest. Chuckling he said, " I know you've been stressed so I wanted to give you a fun night." Looking up into his coffee-colored eyes you kissed him passionately. " I am so excited to be a dad," Spencer said as he pulled back.
