Spencer

Groaning you made your way through the bullpen heading straight to your desk. Sitting down you rolled your eyes as your phone dinged. ( Where did you go? you're cheating on me aren't you?) sighing you put your phone down and got up to get some coffee. Walking into the small kitchen you smiled as you saw your cup filled and waiting for you. Shaking your head you smiled as you picked it up and headed to your desk. Spencer sat at his desk pulling out a book about headaches. " Thanks for making my coffee, you didn't have to do that," you said as you sat on his desk taking in his pained expression. " I could tell you were having a bad day already so I wanted to change it," Spencer said as he set his book down to study you. He noticed the bruising around your left eye and your swollen cheek. " What did he do to you this time?" Spencer said as he stood up and examined your face. " He was drunk last night I told him if he didn't stop doing the shit he was doing I was gonna leave," you stated as your fought back tears. Pulling you into a tight hug he shushed your sobs and rubbed your back. " Hey if you want Luke and I will go with you today and you can get your stuff," Spencer offered as he pulled back. Wiping your face you gave him a weak smile before nodding. Cracking a smile he said " you can stay with me if you want," Smiling you nodded and returned to your desk. Looking over a file you heard the rest of the members come into the bullpen. " hey y/n why are you here so early? are you trying to beat Reid at who can stay here the longest?" Simmons asked as he chuckled.shaking your head you smiled before retorting " No I wanted to get a jump on the next case so I came in early in hopes of not having to prepare my go bag," Simmons chuckled as did Luke. Emily walked in followed by Tara and Rossi. " so do we have a case?" Luke asked as he sipped his coffee. Shrugging you smiled as you heard Garcia approaching. " Hey guys I know it's early but we have a case," She stated before going to the conference room. 

After being briefed for the new case you made your way to the small kitchen to make a to-go coffee. Just as you finished making your coffee your phone rang. Answering it you immediately you frowned as Johnathan yelled. " I am at work, I have a case and when I get back I am done I am leaving," you stated before hanging up. Making your way to the elevator you stepped in next to JJ and Tara. " So what did Johnathan say when he called?" Jj asked as the elevator descended. Letting out a sigh you told them everything and waited for there reactions. Jj just wrapped you in a hug as Tara patted your back. Getting on the jet you settled next to Spencer as the team got more info on the case. Penelope popped on the screen " Hey guys I just got the toxicology report on the latest victims and they were all drugged and raped, the medical examiner also found alcohol in their systems." she stated before sending the reports to the team. " I also looked at the video footage at the station and there was a man that followed each of the victims," Penelope added before ending the video call. " Ok so when we land Spencer and y/n go to the station and talk with the sheriff, JJ and Luke got to the family of the last victim and I want Tara and Simmons with me as we talk with the mayor," Emily ordered as she continued to look over the files. Looking out the window you felt eyes on you causing you to glance at the team. " Y/n when were you gonna tell about what Johnathan was doing to you?" Rossi asked as he closed his file. Looking over at Spencer you spoke up. " I was trying to deal with it on my own, we have all been under a lot of stress, Spencer was the first to know and he was helping me," Spencer pulled you into his side as you tried not to cry. " Well if you need help getting out we will all help you, Luke and I will go with you and Spencer to get your stuff," Simmons said as he patted your back. " Thanks, guys  I appreciate it," you stated before turning to look out the window.

-Time skip-

"Luke Gallows put your hands up, we have you cornered," Luke yelled as Luke held his gun out at the team. " I ain't going back to prison, those girls got what they deserved and I enjoyed it," Luke stated before shooting at you. Hitting you in the leg dropping you. Shots rang out as you tried to stop the bleeding. " Hang on y/n we got a medic coming stay still," Emily said as the others dealt with Luke. The sirens rang as the ambulance pulled up beside where you laid on the ground.  They gently placed you on a gurney and wheeled you into the ambulance Spencer climbed in with you. " hey you are gonna be ok we are gonna make sure you heal right," Spencer mumbled as he sobbed. After going into surgery you were put in a room for monitoring for the night. Waking from the anesthesia you looked for your water. Seeing it on the small table next to the bed you sat up not having the most luck. The sound of light chuckling had you looking over at a sleepy Spencer. " Where's the team?" you asked as he handed you the water. " They are in the lobby waiting to hear from you, I told the nurse you were my sister so I could wait in here," Spencer said as he chuckled at your facial expression upon hearing him say, sister. " So did they tell you how long I will be out from work?" you asked as you tried to get comfortable. Shaking his head he got up stretching before heading to the door. " I will be back so don't worry I am just gonna get the team," Spencer mumbled seeing you start to panic. Nodding you sipped your water and looked down at your cast covered leg. A few moments passed and the team filed into the small room. " I am glad to see you are alright," Rossi commented before bending down to hug you. The others talked about the case and the plan moving forward.

-back home-

Walking out of the elevator at your apartment complex you winced when you accidentally hit your leg with your crutch. " we could have just gotten you a wheelchair so you couldn't hurt yourself further," Luke snarked as he walked behind you and the other guys. Spencer hovered nearby as Simmons followed behind in case you fell. Stopping outside your door you handed the keys to Spencer who opened the door. Luke walked in first to make sure Johnathan wasn't home. Giving the signal the guys moved into the apartment to gather your stuff. Standing behind them you pointed out all the stuff that was yours. Once they had it boxed and ready they started taking it to the moving truck. Spencer stayed with you as he boxed up the last of your books. As you were leaving the apartment you bumped into Johnathan. " So you leave when I am gone so I can't confront the cheating whore you are?" Johnathan snarled as he looked up at Spencer. " I never cheated on you, you were the one cheating and beating me," you stated as you tried to pass him. He laughed evilly before kicking the crutch from your hand making you fall. Yelping in pain you fought back tears as you tried to get up. Luke and Simmons came around the corner as Spencer helped you stand. " Johnathan Wilson you are under arrest for domestic violence and assaulting a federal agent," Luke stated as he pulled out his handcuffs. Simmons stood in front of you as Luke called for a police car. "Let's get you out of here and somewhere safe and cozy," Spencer said as Simmons picked up the final box. 

Arriving at Spencer's apartment you made your way to the couch. Sitting down you rested the crutches on the floor. " So we can chill and unpack tomorrow," Spencer huffed as he plopped down next to you on the couch. " Sounds good to me, I am beat," you stated before resting your head on his shoulder. " How about I ordered some Indian food and we watch some Supernatural?" Spencer questioned as he pulled out his phone. Nodding you closed your eyes as he ordered the usual. When the call was over he rested his head on yours as you closed your eyes. " I will always protect you and love you," Spencer mumbled before kissing your hair. " I love you too," you commented before kissing his cheek.
