It was a regular school day. At least, it was supposed to be. Junkyu kicked his legs back and forth under his desk, eyes trained onto the paper in front of him but he wasn't taking any notes. His mind was occupied with the thoughts and memories that haunted him ever since they came back from Hawaii.

A whole week break passed since the trip, but Junkyu couldn't pull his thoughts together. He didn't touch his phone at all, despite the hundreds of notification and ringing he heard. He didn't even know why he was so into thinking about it anyway, everything was crystal clear about that trip. Mashiho and Asahi liked each other, same for Yeongue and Yoonbin. Insoo liked Yedam who liked someone else and Keita also liked Yedam.

"Junkyu?" he ignored the voice, too engrossed into his own thoughts, "Junkyu? Class ended already-it's lunch."

His ears caught the word 'lunch', getting his attention, but he still didn't respond. He continued to sit as if he didn't care. Yedam sighed, confused on why Junkyu was ignoring him all of a sudden. "Then I guess Insoo and I will go ahead?" Junkyu immediately stood up, rushing out of the classroom to where Insoo stood before taking her to the cafeteria.

The younger boy furrowed his eye brows at his reaction before realization flashed through. "He didn't hear...did he?" Yedam rushed out of the classroom, following Junkyu out.

"What are you doing?! Junkyu-" Insoo yanked his hands off of her body, glaring up at his tall figure, "What the hell is wrong with you?! Just because you know that doesn't mean you can touch me how ever you like!"

"What the hell is wrong with me? What the hell is wrong with you?!" Junkyu hissed, pulling her into an empty hallway, knowing that all of the students would be in the cafeteria; too far to hear their conversation. "You're the one who waltzed into an all-boys school despite NOT being a boy!"

"Keep your voice down, you damn rat," Insoo pushed him against the hallway wall, her hand pressed against his lips to shut him up. His mind flashed back to when he first met her, remembering the untouched memory.

He remembered the thin clothes she wore under her large, thick coat. He also remember how ugly and messy her hair looked, looking as if someone beat her up and thick chunks of her hair. Her pale, soft face was covered by a mask but through that mask, their lips touched. The gay couple.

"Uh hello? Earth to Junkyu?" Junkyu snapped out from his memory, staring down at Insoo who was now standing a little ways away from him. Her feminine legs kicked back and forth as she looked up at him, an innocent look in her eyes.

"Oh-uh-" he tried his hardest not to melt in front of her, feeling his body go weak, "What...were we talking about?"

She raised a brow at his response. "Why are you ignoring Yedam?" Ah of course, he thought, she likes him so of course she'll think about him and pay attention to him. Junkyu sighed a bit.

"You don't need to know," Junkyu muttered. What used to be butterflies was now a bitter feeling burning through his insides, as if telling him she was a bitter fruit. Insoo didn't like his answer, scoffing.

"Why, huh?" she stepped up, going onto her tippy toes to look him perfectly in the eyes, "I'm his friend-and yours."

"Yeah right, 'friend'," Junkyu scoffed, bringing his face closer to hers. She didn't back away, only staying in the position she was in before. It was a challenge she wasn't going to lose.

"What's got your panties in a twist?" Junkyu only stared at her eyes, the feeling of anger slipping from his body. Her eyes only seemed to draw him in, making his lost focus on what was happening. "Junkyu?! Am I talking to a-"

Junkyu's lips brushed hers, shutting her up immediately. Insoo stepped back, face burning wildly as she stared at him with an incredulous expression. "What the fuck...?" She didn't stay any longer, taking her leave as quickly as she could, leaving Junkyu alone with his thoughts yet again.

The end of the day came by sooner than Junkyu expected, but he was thankful for that despite not taking any notes in class or paying attention to vocal class. From afar, Insoo walked slowly, dragging her feet behind her as she trudged forwards.

"Insoo-!" She stood alone, paralyzed as she looked passed the gate. Junkyu's eyes followed, seeing an old woman. Her hair was gray and tied up into a pony tail, her hair sitting on her shoulder as she held a cane. The old woman wore sunglasses despite it being cloudy as a dog sat patiently beside her.

"Mom!" Insoo ran over to the woman after standing there, immediately grabbing the old woman's arms. Junkyu neared the two, but decided not to announce his presence just yet. "What are you doing here? Why are you even here? How'd you know I was going to be here? Auntie doesn't know..."

"Insoo! You always come here with your friends. Wasn't this the high school you wanted to go to?" Her mom blabbered off about more things, reminiscing, "You're graduating this year, isn't that right?"

Junkyu turned to look at her, confused. If she was graduating this year then she would be the same age as him, but yet she was still a first year at Haneul Academy. Insoo's expression was grim, her mouth hung open for a bit but closed soon.

"Who took you here?" she decided to ask, trying to keep her voice from shaking. Her mom smiled kindly.

"Your friend, came and visited today telling me so much about the things you never brought up with me. You need to spend time with your mom, I'm not getting any younger! So stop leaving me, I've been waiting a week, you know?" the old woman laughed a bit, "Noa is so sweet, I can see why you're friends with him."

"Noa?" Insoo felt her body freeze, her heart racing, thumping against her rib cage. She could already feel his presence, hear his voice, and see him

"You called?" Noa smiled sickly at her, throwing his arm around her shoulders, "And Mom, I told you to just call me your son-I'm dating him after all."

He snickered as her mom laughed, oblivious to what was the reality as he moved down, pressing a swift kiss onto her cheek. He then moved his lips to her ear. She felt his smug smirk. "It's so nice to see you again, Inhye."

"Let's go home, Mom," Noa chirped innocently, but his expression was everything but innocent. That worried Junkyu.
