Ruby and I went to the Historical Fiction section of the garden library I had visited last week to talk about "get together" that night. she said it was just to make me get closer with Spencer. "at least it'll give you a better chance with her" Ruby said. I was staring at the small droplets of rain race down the window, envying the freedom they had, with no responsibilities.
To go or not to go. That had been the impervious question of the night. Thanks, Shakespeare. I had figured I should've gone. However, it took a hell of a lot of energy and courage. Not to mention brainpower to answer all my burning questions. Like what to wear, what to bring and lastly what to say to Spencer? In the end, I cracked down and ended up messaging spencer.
"Hey, Spencer it's me Emerald I just wanted to ask what type of clothes should I wear to the "get-together"?"
Well, a little while after I sent the text I realized that I had mistakenly and wrongly added a heart to the end of it. My brain had its own, separate panic attack as I worried about my non-existent reputation and relationship with Spencer. Once more, I had messed up a chance with her. But the thing had been, the party was hosted by Hannah, Emily, and Alison. but I got a weird, kinda paranormal, feeling about them. They give off a weird vibe, But down here in Ghost Town {as some people call it} We have extraordinary things in this lonely town. Actually, as I had started to think about it, I realized no one had ever explained to me why the town was nicknamed Ghost Town. I went down to the library more than my usual Tuesday and Thursday after school book sessions to research the reason. In my defense, you don't just call a place like this "Ghost Town" for no reason.
