"Just tell the girl where her damn brother is already" It'd only been an hour and Ruby had snapped twice. Not that that's a record, just interesting. Emiley began to talk, just as she did, a darkened silhouette rushed down the very very dim-lit hallway, which, inevitably, made Emiley screech. Emiley's screech led to Spencer covering her ears, Ruby rolling her eyes and Bucket looking shocked as ever. "Could you not sound like a murder of squawking crows?" Yelled Spencer, quite shockingly, and aggressively. Spencer's remark made everyone sign up for a screaming fest. There were screams and insults and curses flying and echoing off each wall.
The only thing powerful enough to apparently make everyone shut the hell up was a body-builder-structured nurse standing in the doorway, clearing her throat particularly loudly. "Glad to see your awake, Ms. Moussett" growled the nurse, in such a ravine-deep voice, it made Ruby stumble just the slightest. As shocked as Ruby had appeared to be, she strode up to the nurse and said, with such confidence may I note, and said: "We love you taking care of Emerald but bring your bitchy attitude down several notches, would you?". To that very sentence of confrontation, the nurse stepped away from a few steps, as a look, almost like fear with a scowl, crept across her face from ear to ear. As soon as both Spencer and I saw that very look, we simultaneously said. "We are so sorry about our little friend here. She gets a wittle cwanky without her dinner"
"No need, miss" Replied the hefty woman in such a pleased tone. It was almost as if Ruby's toughness acted on her as a lullaby. Now, you may be wondering: "Where's Bucket? You've only talked about spencer and Ruby through this portion" Which, yes, I realize now. However, just like I am me, you are you, Bucket is, well, Bucket. Meaning, he'd dozed off once the violent screaming had come to an end.
At last, it seemed like everything had gone back to a peaceful state. Yet, this IS Ghost Town, after all. That same dark silhouette passed by again, this time with a little glimpse of a wristwatch. That small glimpse sent Emiley hurling down the hallway, lead by such a blood-curdling scream that Freddy Kruger couldn't have handled it.
