8 : "Canceled Date"

Weeks passed by and Friday night has always been your night with Woosung.
You were always spending the night at your place, he was always leaving in the late afternoon.
Everything was always perfect.
It was too perfect.

After four months doing this, Woosung started to get busy with music, at that time, he would never cancel your Friday night date, no, not in a billion year but he started to come to your place a little later at first, then he was leaving a little earlier.
Your date started now at 12 PM and ended at 11 PM.
You were okay with it, you juste wanted him to pursue his dream, whatever it takes.
You knew it when you started dating him so why would you complain about this?
You just couldn't.
What made you sad was that he couldn't meet up with you that much during the week anymore.
Usually you were meeting up once or twice to grab lunch or he was just driving you home after work but he wasn't doing this anymore.

Tonight was Friday night and as usual, you were waiting for Woosung to show up, everything was ready, his favorite snacks and drinks along with some of your favorite movies.
The place was nice and comfy, just how you liked it. You always ended up falling asleep on the couch cuddling.
Those Friday nights, no matter when Woosung was showing up, were always magical.

[1 AM]

You've started eating without him, watching a movie when your phone rang, you saw his name showing up on the display and you were happy to see that he texted you, but when you opened the message, your smile faded away.

Hi angel, I'm so so sorry but I can't make it tonight, im in the middle of something and I can't stop here. I'm genuinely sorry. I promise you I will be free next week. Don't sleep to late, take care.

You took a deep breath and closed your eyes, trying to find out how you were feeling about this.
You weren't sad, no, you weren't angry either but it was more something like disappointment.
No in him but in yourself because even if it was late, you really believed he was going to show up even though, you knew he wouldn't make it.
After a few minutes, you took your phone and type a reply.

You locked your phone, placed it on the table, grabbed a drink and a bowl of popcorn and put a new movie for you to watch, alone.

[4 AM]

After another two movies you started to be tired, you put everything down on the table, turned off the TV and while you were getting comfortable on the couch you were debating if you should look at your phone or not, because maybe that Woosung would've texted you, or maybe not.
You don't wanted to know, so you turned around, facing the back of your couch, closed your eyes and fell asleep.

Woosung didn't text you until Sunday night.
