"Hey! come on you, we're going to be late" I said latching fingers with Harry "I can't afford another late mark on the register because of you"
Harry pulled me back and into his arms. He tilted his head down and looked into my eyes.
"We're not going to be late, we have lots of time" he said pushing my hair behind my ear. I smiled nervously to break the eye contact. I pulled my hair back in front of my ear.
"You know I look stupid when you do that" I said placing my hands on his arms still around my waist holding me in front of him.
"You never look stupid in my eyes" he said stroking across my cheek bone.
"Ok! That was too cringey even for you Mr Cheesy" I said giggling and pulling his arms from around me, I did a little jog leaving a gap between us. He increased the speed of his walk in order to close the gap. He had his hands in his pockets which made his shoulders sway as he caught up to me.
"And you love me for it" he said taking one of his arms and placing it around my shoulder pulling me closer to him as we continued our walk to school.
It wasn't long before we spotted the others waiting for us by the school gates. I left the comfort of Harry's arm to greet my friends, something they would never dream of doing to their boyfriends. That's what made me and Harry special, he knew our limits. A few minutes later the school bell rang. I looked at Harry, he had a smug look on his face.
"Told you we weren't going to be late" he said grabbing me from behind.
"Well I'll make you late then" I spun around and caressed him in a big bear hug.
"Harry mate, are you coming to P.E.?" said Liam waiting with the other boys.
"No he's not, tell your teacher he's going to be late" I smiled tightening the hug.
"No wait guys I'll be five seconds" Harry said as he struggled.
"You can catch us up" said the boys as they started to leave.
"Wait, wait, wait a minute" Harry shouted still struggling to move. He tried tickling me but I wasn't ticklish, it had no affect on me at all.
"Lucy, I swear if you don't let go, I'll..." he thretened in a joking tone.
"You'll what?" I laughed, I wasn't planning on letting go any time soon. I wanted to see what he'd do.
He looked at me with concentration written all over his face. He was thinking of something to do.
He smiled then put his hand under my chin and pulled my head up to look at him.
"I'll do this" he said before crashing his lips against mine. In the shock I let go of my strong grip. As he pulled away he started running, he knew I'd give in.
He stopped when he was at least a few metres away from me and turned around.
"That's what happens when you annoy me" he laughed.
"Well I'll have to annoy you more often" I shouted after him. He smiled then waved goodbye before he disappeared into the gymnasium.
I was really bored of school. Most people couldn't believe it was our last year in school and didn't want to leave everyone behind. Me, I thought differently, I just wanted all the time in the world to spend with Harry and school was just getting in the way. Don't get me wrong, I was a good girl. I always handed in my homework on time and behaved in lesson but sometimes I had melt downs where I just wanted to be tucked up in bed or cuddled in Harry's arms. My friends were being very reserved around me, they could see I wasn't spending enough time with them. After all those days I'd spent complaining about them being with their boyfriends 24/7 I finally knew what it felt like to be with someone you loved and want to be with them constantly. My friends on the other hand, they knew what I had felt like, abandoned by their friend/friends.
