"NO HARRY DON'T! PLEASE!" I screamed at the top of my lungs as I watched him sprinting down the customer stairs. He flew off the bottom few stairs landing down on his two feet hard and continued to storm out of the shop.
"HARRRRYYY PLEASSEE!!" I screeched a finally time before throwing myself down the stairs and out of the shop after him.
I stopped at the entrance and quickly x-rayed the families for my boyfriend. My heart was thumping hard as I looked from side to side trying to catch a glimpse of him. My adrenaline rushing as I spotted his hair bouncing angrily in the direction of that awful man. I was about to follow him when I saw how many people were surrounding me. I can't deal with crowds, how can I reach him?
"Harry?!" I yelled over the noise of people talking and shouting. I waved my hands trying to get attention from the back of his head. This was no use. I had to do it.
I pulled down my hat over my ears and tucked my chin into my scarf. I quickly dodged shoppers, they flashed past me like on-coming traffic. Everyone around me was blurred as I focused on Harry's curls.
I can't do this. I felt those familiar eyes watching me again. What if he wasn't in the direction Harry was going? What if HE was in the crowd.......looking for me?
A tear of panic and anger formed at the side of my eye. Not far now, you can do it Lucy. I took a few final steps and I was out of the crowd. I fell to my knees with exhaustion, taking deep breaths in and out. My chest rising and falling like a carousel.
"Harry" I said weakly.
I watched him continue towards the group of girls. I reached out my hand like I could reach him but he was so far away. I took one more deep breath then pulled myself to my feet. I wasn't giving up this time.
I could no longer see Harry as I approached the gang of females. Regret filled my body before I'd even spoke to them.
"Excuse me" I croaked still gasping for air.
"What?!" one said, she was big and hench and looked like she could kill you with her eyes.
"Did you see where that boy just went? The one with the curly hair?" I said almost under my breath.
"You mean the fit one" another of the girls muttered, although I couldn't tell which one. They all laughed.
"Yeah we know where he is, what's it to you?" said the huge girl, she placed her hands on her hips with attitude.
"Well considering he's my boyfriend I'd be delighted if you could tell me which way he went" I argued. My mind kept thinking of Harry, that man could have battered him and left him for dead by now.
"Listen hunny" she hissed in her manly husky voice, "he's obviously not your boyfriend because he just asked where our friend has gone because he thinks she's hot, ok? So run off back to dream world because that prince isn't interested in a peasant like you".
I was really angry right now.
"Well guess what, he's not interested in an ogre like you either" I snapped hurrying away from those time wasters.
"What did she just say to me??!!" I heard that beast scream to her friends, before hearing stomping footsteps following me.
I increased the speed of my walk a little, life was bad as it was without being beaten up as well.
I decided to guess where Harry would have gone. I saw a dark entry not to far away. Perfect! He'll be there looking for the other monster in my life. I quickly entered the black walkway scanning for shadows that would be created by the only street light. I saw two figures at the end of the entry and one walking at an extreme pace towards them. Harry? It had to be.
