‘’ What are you doing here?’’ Chris was my ex boyfriend and the reason why i couldn’t be mad at him was because we ended things on ‘’good terms’’. He just didn’t say the reason why our relationship wasn’t working. But I was the one who broke up with him since he was all like ‘’should we give it another shot?’’ And i didn’t want to waste my time in a relationship that wasn’t going to work out. ‘’Can we talk Alex?’’ He asked. He was acting really weird. Zach went to the kitchen to do whatever he needed to do and we sat down on the couch. ‘’Erm… I was wondering if we could go to your room and talk.’’ He said. ‘’Sorry I don’t let boys in my room.’’ I said. It was a lie that i always told him. He always wanted more than I could give him. If you know what i’m talking about. His line was always ‘’ can we go to your room’’ or something like that. I don’t know if he thought that it would lead to something if we were in my room but he always insisted and i always said either no or ‘’sorry i don’t let boys into my room’’ He would always be annoyed after my answers. Today he looked frustrated with my answer and then he looked even more frustrated when Zach yelled from the kitchen (Zach has always hated him) ‘’That’s a lie Lexie. I’m in your room all the time.’’ Chris looked annoyed when he called me Lexie. He would always ask why he calls me Lexie and i would always answer that he was a jerk. To be honest, I think the main reason why I hate Zach is because of Chris. He would always say things about Zach that bothered him and in the end it started annoying me too. I shot Zach an annoyed look towards the kitchen. ‘’He still calls you Lexie, I see’’ He muttered under his breath. ‘’Fine lets go up then if it’s so important.’’ We start walking up the stairs and when we get to the room, he’s out of breath. we walk in to the room  but i don’t shut the door. he takes a seat on my bed and i stand in front of the door. ‘’Don’t you want to sit?’’ he asks. I shake my head no. ‘’Okay, so I broke up with Tanya.’’ He said as if it was the best news in the world. ‘’Okay’’ I say, waiting for him to continue. ‘’And i just thought that I really missed you.’’ He says running his fingers thru his dirty blonde hair. ‘’We ar not getting back together Chris.’’ I say before he even gets to say something else. I don’t think he has the right to come here and say stuff like that. I don’t even have feelings for him anymore and even though I was the one who broke up with him, He was always the one questioning our relationship. He didn’t even tell me why he didn’t think it would work out. He always said stuff like ‘’ In the future you’ll see what i’m talking about’’ and ‘’We don’t even act like a couple.’’ And stuff like that. I was angry at him right now. ‘’You can go Chris.’’ I said. ‘’But Listen Alex, I really miss you, You don’t get it when I was-’’ I was about to cut him of until someone else did. ‘’I think you should leave Chris.’’ Zach said in a calm voice. ‘’Why are you even here Zach? Her brothers aren’t even home.’’ He said in a really obnoxious way. ‘’Didn’t you tell him when you were dating Lexie?’’ Zach asked me in a teasing way. ‘’No, it was none of his business then and it isn’t his business now.’’ I answered. Chris didn’t want to leave but i was going to make him. Before i knew it, Zach had his arms wrapped around my waist from behind and rested his head on my shoulder. ‘’I live here Chris. And you better leave before her brothers get home.’’ He says.

A look of understanding crosses  Chris’ face and he points at us. ‘’Oh, so you’re finally together.‘’  He says. ‘’No’’ Zach and I say at the same time. ‘’Wait! what do you mean with finally?’’ you took the words right out of my mouth.

‘’Errm… Nothing. I just thought you were a couple. Cuz’ you know how he’s hugging you.’’ I didn’t even think about the way he was hugging me. It was comfortable but I am not letting him hold me like that.  I step out of Zachs hold and walk down the stairs. ‘’I’ll show you the door. Even though you should know where it is.’’ I only muttered the last bit but i think he heard it.

After Chris left, I went up to Zachs room. I was planning on trying to be nice. Why? you may ask. Well  it is actually because of Chris. After he came by I noticed why I hated Zach. It was because of Chris. He would always make me feel as if I was the one who hated him when in reality, Chris was the hater.

‘’Hey!’’ I said once I was inside of his room. He looked up from his computer and looked surprised then he averted his eyes from my face, to the rest of my body. Once again his eyes stayed too long on my legs. ‘’Are you done?’’ I asked him. ‘’Where you wearing this when Chris was here?’’ He asked me. I was confused as to why he was asking so i looked down on what i was wearing. It was a tanktop and some shorts. Our house was really warm so the thing I wore around the house the most was shorts.
