Chapter 6

' well, I knew a boy named Kenneth he asked me to come to a party from his friend. I was bored so I said yes, he picked me up and we went to the party. After we arrived at the party Kenneth told me he would get us a drink so he went to the kitchen. After five minutes he came back with some wine and told me that he was going to say hi to his friends and that he would be back in a few minutes. I walked to the backyard to smoke a sigarette. In about five minutes James walked towards me I turned around saw him and turned back around. I thought maybe he wasn't walking towards me maybe he walked to someone else. Until he sat next to me and said ' Hi I'm James who are you?'. I told him what my name was and we sat there for an hour just talking about everything. After an hour my friend came back and asked me if I wanted to go meet his friends, I said yes and wanted to walk away. James stopped me and asked for my number I gave my number and walked away. Later on that night I was tired and wanted to go home I looked for my friend, but instead of seeing him I saw you sitting on the couch talking to James. that's when I saw my friend and went home'.

' After that night I got a text message he was asking me to go on a date. After that, we went on a few dates and the last date he asked me to be his girlfriend and gave me a ring with an infinity sign. At first, it was good we slept together but longer in the relationship he only asked me to come over during the day and sometimes at night. Until I was at the party and he told me that he had met a girl Rose and that he didn't want me anymore, that was the night I shouted at you.'

I don't know what to say... this girl just told me almost the same love story. I almost thought she was talking about my story. ' he played us both the exact same way' its the only thing I could say. ' I'm so sorry Rose for shouting at you'. Jessica looks relieved. 'it's okay'.

After a few more drinks I'm really drunk and still talking with Jessica and Mariah. Jessica says 'Let's go it's late, we can sleep at my place it's not far so we can walk'. Me and Mariah nods, who would believe me if I told them I hated Mariah a couple of weeks ago and now we're having a sleepover at Jessica's place.
