Right before the sun started to disappear behind the trees, i noticed a shadow on the ground. I looked up at the tree nearby me and noticed Dabi sitting on a high and thick branch, leaning his back against the tree trunk. One knee was pulled against his chest with an arm slung around it carelessly while the other leg dangled and swayed softly. If he saw me he didn't acknowledge it. For a second in wondered how he got up there and why he would, he mentioned he was scared of heights right?

"You're so extra sometimes." i said as i flew up and sat on the same branch, one leg on either side of said branch, which creaked in protest but didn't seem in any danger of breaking soon.

"Shut up, I'll push you down." he scowled as he grasped with his free hand to hold onto the a different branch, to steady himself.

"Try it, I'll pull you down with me." I retorded. He scoffed, but didn't say anything in return. He didn't even look at me.
"I didn't mean to offend you with what i said this morning, i thought you'd like go back to your old ways." I said and i scratched the back of my head.

"It's not like i don't want to," he said before quietly adding, "It's just that I'm scared of what they'll think."
I barely caught that even though i have good hearing, "You mean your family?" i asked and he nodded.

"And you should have told me before you told the others," he said. I hadn't expected THAT, i had thought he'd be glad I'd told him with the others, for backup support from the other villains.

"Sorry," I said, i didn't really know what else to say, he shrugged and stayed quiet. That gave me time to think.

I was the first one to break the silence once more,"I think your family will be happy to get you back. I've talked to your sister and brother a few times asking about you and they told me they missed you, and that they hoped i find you."

"They'll hate me, who wants a villain for a brother? They'd love me if i was more like you." He said and that nearly shattered my heart, i looked down at my knees.

"Bullshit, they'd be annoyed by me and wishing for replacement."

"You're their brother, you, only you. They wouldn't want anyone else in return." I added then and glanced at him. His eyebrows were furrowed together, his eyes shone, but not in the way they usually did when it was just the two of us, this was pure pain.

"I feel sick with who i am." Dabi spat, it wasn't meant to hurt me in any way but it still did. Toya had been angry with himself for a very long time and now it seemed it turned into self-loathing. I wanted to reach out and hold his hand. To hold him close, our foreheads pressed together. But I didn't do any of those things because i didn't know how he'd react.

"That's why i want to give you, all of you a second chance."

He finally dared to look at me instead of past me. He frowned deeper, before it disappeared and made place to a blank mask.

"Are you okay?" i asked carefully. That look was one i knew all too well.

"I'm fine."

"You sure?"

"Who really knows anymore." he responded as he sighed softly. So that was a no.

"Do you want a hug and me telling you it's going to be okay?" I half-joked as i opened my arms.  He glared at me but leaned forward lying his forehead against my shoulder. I wrapped one arm around his shoulder while i grabbed, with my free hand, one of his hand. Softly rubbing my thumb over the skin.

"You know that look you just gave me was the same one you used to give me when we were young if you were hurt. You close yourself off, and even though it's not really noticeable for those who don't know you, it always made me want to give you a hug."

He scoffed once mroe, "Be quiet for a second." I pressed my hand against the back of his head. He exhaled, almost barely audible but it was so quiet and he was so close that i heard it.

"Are we going to stay here? In your hometown I mean. " Toya asked after a minute or two of calming down.

"For the time being, yes. I told you, we should lay low and see what happens for now." i responded.

"Has that ever worked for you?" he asked out loud not really meaning for me to respond but i did anyway. I shrugged, "I just don't know what to do now. I gotta have some time to think more about our next step."

"Alright." he nodded.
"Now, get ya ass up, let's go back, I'm hungry." I said as i was about to stand up. Dabi held on to me.

"Okay, okay I'll take you down with me."

I snaked one arm around his waist before, I spread my wings and let us slide from the branch. We lowered down gracefully until i was about to land. My feet hit the ground but i slipped off a tree root.

"Fuck!" I yelped as we both fell. I landed on top of Dabi who gave a lazy, playfull smirk, "If you wanted to be on top you should have just asked."
"Fuck you, Toya." I said as i got up and held out my hand for him. He grabbed it and let me pull him to his feet, we quietly walked back to the house.

"We couldn't convince him." Compress said as we entered the kitchen.

"He said he's leaving." Mirko added. They were all quiet and looked sad except for Mirko who looked more annoyed and angry while she was sipping her coffee.

 "Fuck, is he angry?"

"He threw multiple books at us, so i'd say yes." Mirko scoffed.

"We can't force him." Dabi said. "If he doesn't want to he can leave, we're not gonna snitch him to the police though, promise that." we all nodded, that wouldn't even have to be said, even though Shigaraki hadn't been the most pleasant man ever, it would just be cruel to hand him over just like that.

"I'm going back to bed." Dabi announced as he rubbed his forehead with his hand.

"It's not even noon ye--" i yelped as he grabbed my arm. Mirko gave me a knowing glance before Toya dragged me out of the kitchen and upstairs.

Kissing is what we did, of course we didn't stop there and it was an absolute bliss. We went again and at least two times more till we were both tired and all sweaty.

"You've got stamina, I thought you'd ruined your lungs because of all the smoking, ya know." i said breathless, Toya rolled his eyes and pushed at my arm, "Course not, i have a fire quirk i should be able to handle smoke and all." I laughed breathlessly and agreed.

"Would Shigaraki be gone already?" i asked out loud not really expecting an answer from Toya. "For God's sake please don't talk about that crusty man right after we had sex." he said and i responded with a chuckle.

"I don't know what else to say." I said.

"Just don't talk then." he said and he turned his head to look at me. His black hair fell in front of his eyes. I reached over and pushed his hair away so i could look at his eyes, the beautiful shade of blue, which was so familiar, yet each time so different. I rested my hand on his cheek and in a sudden burst of emotion i said, "I love you," I quickly added, "You don't have to say it back i just wanted you to know." i smiled a little at him and he smiled too.

"I know dumbass, I love you too."

I grinned at him, "Stop, seriously stop with the stupid look." he said with a small smile before leaning in to kiss me again.

This is kinda short, sorry
