CHAPTER 2: GOING BACK

 ALEX POV

"Anong oras ba tayo makakarating?"

"Ang ingay mo Mae, pwede bang matulog ka nalang muna diyan?"

"Naiinip nga ako."

"Kaya nga ehh. Matulog ka para yang inip mo mawala, kase kung di ka makatulog magpatulog ka naman Mae."

"Kung ikaw kaya ang matulog ha bakla."

"Abat........ "

"Stop that nonsense." I said in a cold tone. Because they are getting on my nerves. "I want to sleep. Kung hindi kayo makatulog, you're free to jump on the window, no problem." I added.

I want peace of mind. "Nagtatagalog ka Alex?" Seed said that out of the blue. "Alex ikaw ba yan?" Mae added in a curious tone. She even snapped her finger in front of my face. I just didn't mind her and I rested my head on the headrest of this private plane that we were riding. 

"Alex? Why did you do that?" The question of Sai makes me feel awake in an instant. I want to answer that question but it doesn't seem like it, either. But why did I do that? Tsk. Seriously Alex? I didn't even know what to do at that time, it wasn't in my plan but…. What the fuck. 

That night, before I made my way out of the house to hop into my car, someone called me, and they didn't know about that because I didn't tell them. 

I know I'm being selfish by not telling the real reasons why we need to go back to the Philippines. 

And I know they will find out sooner or later.  

"1 hour from now the plane will take off, young lady." One of the Butler told me on my back just save me on that hot seat when he speaks unexpectedly. "hhmm." I just answered back. "And as for your schedule young lady, your condo is......"

"Don't bother, let's go straight to the mansion." I said as I cut his words. "I'm staying there, no need to worry." I added for an assurance. Because I knew they would all complain if I left them in the mansion and I would just go to the condo. 

I lean my head on Hanz's shoulder then I close my eyes."Why don't you go to the room? You will get cramps here." He whispered and patted my head gently.

"I don't mind." I whispered back as the darkness enfolded me.

   

 MAE POV

"Alex? Why did you do that?" Because of that question of Sai which made us almost keep quiet. I locked my daze to Alex and waited for her to answer. I noticed that she seemed surprised at Sai's question, I was also wondering why she did that. 

Alex is not the type of person to just give up on something or someone ever since I met her. Quitting is not part of her lifestyle.

I knew something was wrong because when my gaze landed on Hanz he suddenly looked in the other direction and kept himself busy by taking out his phone from his front pocket.

Hhhhhmmmm........... I smell something fishy here. 

                     *FLASHBACK*

"It seems that Alex will not come?" Asked Drew. What a conceited moron. If I know you'll lose again. Alex is probably ten minutes late. That's why I'm starting to dial her number many times now.
