Chapter Ten : Because Our Relationship Is Special

I wasn't the biggest fan of the rain, it was okay but i wasn't the biggest fan of it. The rain clouds appeared out of nowhere and i was caught in the rain, i was currently taking shelter in front of a store but it wasn't providing much protection since i was still getting wet. I was wet, cold and lonely--well not completely lonely since i had a family of cats to keep my company. I sighed crouching down hugging my knee slightly waiting for the rain to stop but it didn't show any sign of stopping soon. Then an umbrella appeared out of nowhere above my head sheltering me from the heavy rain, i looked up to find that my hero was none other then Sugaware Senpai. I smiled up at him with the family of cats all huddled together around me, i opened up my school back to allow them to get inside so i can take them to a more safe location. With my bag in front of me and the cats and i happily under the safety of Sugawara Senpai's umbrella we left the empty shopping district together.

" Mind telling me what you were doing out in the rain?." He asked sound concern handing me a small towel from his bag so i could dry myself off a bit. " Where you out shopping?."

" I was doing a little research at the library." I told him as i scratched under one of the cats chip making it purr. " I didn't feel like staying home today so i left, i didn't think i'd rain today of all days."

" Exams aren't till like later on." He commented. " What were you researching?."

" Love." I bluntly stated.

" Love?." He asked me confused by my research on love.

" Ne Senpai, can i ask you something?." I asked him, my expression becoming a bit sad. He replied with a hum placing a comforting hand on my shoulder. " I have feelings for my best friend and i am pretty sure my best friend has the same exact feelings for me but i have another close friend that's like a brother to me that also has feelings for me but my feelings for him, no matter how i think about it will only go as far as brotherly love. I've been researching love to find some sort of loop hole or cheat code to make them both happy but i can't and--."

" Kenma,calm down." He said looking at me with widened eyes. " Look, you don't have to go into so much detail. Nishinoya has already asked for my help on the matter." He said smiling warmly at me. " This is my opinion and i am in no way or form telling you what to do, so listen well to what i have to say. Stop trying so hard, love isn't something you can control whenever you want, love is something you feel, something you express in many ways or form. In your case like you said you only have romantic feelings for Hinata,right?." I nodded my head. " And you only see Kuro as a friend, right?." I nodded my head. " You can love Hinata and you can also love Kuro just as much, both relationships is special in there own way. You and Hinata have something special that you and Kuro can never have but the same can be said about Kuro and you. There's no need to put so much pressure on yourself Kenma, you love who you love in however way you see fit but if you don't speak up, then they'll never know how you feel." I look up at Sugawara Senpai as a small smile crept his way on to my face. Sugawara Senpai is always the wise one.

" Thank you Senpai." He chuckled shyly scratching the back of his head. " And thank you for the walk here to the bus station. i am really grateful." We both smiled at one anther for a brief second before he turned around and continued on his way. I sit down with my bag full of cats as i wait for a bus to arrive watching the heavy rain that fell painting the city in blue.

Both Hinata and Kuro are very special to me in many ways and i wanna be able to make them both happy, and if what Senpai said is possible then there is a chance that nobody will get hurt, well everyone except for Kuro who much rather be with me romantically then my friend. I still don't get it but i would be happy if both of them were happy and i want them both to be happy but i can't be with Kuro because i wanna be with Hinata and being with Kuro would make Hinata sad. I pressed my forehead against the metal pole trying to cool it down so it doesn't overheat and sighed heavily. I don't want to lie to Kuro nor do i wanna hurt Hinata so my only option is to be truthful to them and to myself and hope that it all works out for the best.

One of the Kittens meowed drawing my attention towards it, i smiled and pet its head gently causing it to purr. It was a small black cat that reminded me of Kuro. " and so your name shall be Kuro Jr." I chuckled light to myself as i pat Kuro Jr gently on the top of his head making him purr happily. Then it came to me, a plan on how i could make our relationship even more special. i picked up Kuro Jr and rubbed his nose against mine before holding him up in the air triumphantly with a grin on my face. " Something special that only Hinata and i have and now something even more special that Kuro and i can have." I chuckled lightly letting the black kitten rest on my lap as i pat him happily.
