Chapter Thirteen : Because This Is Our First Date.

The next morning Kenma woke up alone in Kuro's bed feeling worse than he did yesterday, everything that happened yesterday, everything that he learned yesterday has taken a real toll on the boy. Kenma was mentally and physically exhausted and he was still struggling to find a solution to all the problems that have presented themselves, then Kuro Jr leaped on to the bed and meowed at the depressed boy happily knocking him out of his distress state. Kenma chuckled lightly picking up the small black kitten into his arms; he'd played with him for a little while before he felt better and got up from the bed. He moved over to the desk where he found a note from Kuro laying on it.

"Left the house to go meet up with my mom
I left breakfast on the dining table
Eat before going out
or if you're staying one more night i would really like to talk
Kuro Jr has been feed and cared for so there's nothing for you to worry about
I'll be back soon
If you go out for a bit don't forget to lock up and let me know
Love, Kuro. "

Kenma smiled at the note placing it back down where he found it and left him a little note himself. Kenma moved to the bathroom where he brushed his teeth, took a shower and washed his hair before walking back into the room where Kuro Jr was happily playing with Kuro's shoe laces. Kenma chuckled at the scene before him as he got dressed in his black skinny jeans and a large shirt from Kuro's closet, he took Kuro Jr with him downstairs for a quick meal before going back up the bedroom where his phone was buzzing in the corner it was charging in. Kenma picked it up and saw he had a message from Hinata tell him to meet him at the bus station in front of corner store down the hill. Kenma sent him a quick 'okay' and grabbed his things before leaving the house. As he walked down the hill the scenes of last night played in his head making his heart ache but he shook it off and made his way down the hill to the bus station to find Hinata already there waiting for him ever so patiently.

" Hello. " Kenma greeted him as he stood by his side. Hinata smiled his goofy smile patting Kenma on the shoulder. Kenma placed a hand against Hinata's face trailing his fingers across the bandages that decorated Hinata's handsome face. " I am sorry. " Kenma apologized taking his hand back his gazing falling to the ground. He felt responsible for what happened last night.

" Nah, it's not as bad as they look. We weren't actually trying to hurt each other. We were just angry and needed to take it out on something or someone so we took it out on each other. " Hinata's smiles widely scratching the back of his head. Kenma smiled slightly leaning his head against Hinata's shoulder. " Can i take you out, like on a date?." Kenma's eyes widened, he pulled away from Hinata to look at his flustered face. " Nothing to fancy, i heard that there's a small little festival happening in the neighborhood i thought that we could go check it out and talk for a bit."

Kenma looked down at the time on his phone then up the hill before he nodded his head. Hinata took Kenma's hand in his and guided him to the small event happening in the neighborhood. The two of them had arrived and immediately went to check out the many different stalls at the event, they played games, ate, laughed and really enjoyed themselves. through the whole afternoon both boys had not once thought about their worries and had fun on their very first date. Of course they weren't officially a couple yet but they still enjoyed the many perks that a couple would. The hand holding, the occasional teasing and the leaning on each other as they walked throughout the event. It brought both boys joy that they didn't have to worry about their troubles and just enjoyed their time together.

The two boys finally sat down after walking the whole afternoon to regain their strength, it was here that the mood changed and they both knew it was time to talk about the elephant in the room.

" This morning Kuro came by to apologize." Hinata spoke before taking a bit from his spoon filled with ice cream. " We had a deep and loud heart to heart so early in the morning it pissed off the neighbors and my mom but we finally managed to work out all our pent up frustration. We're sorry for causing you so much heart ache. Kuro is still leaving but don't want you to worry about him cause i got a plan. it may sound reckless and stupid but i promise you i got this for the both of us. "

" I also want to apologize for not being able to do anything about our situation. If only i could make this all better i would do it in a heartbeat because seeing you two like this, it breaks my heart to no end and i hate the fact i wasn't strong enough to put a stop to it all before it got so out of hand like this. " Kenma said his gazing finding comfort in his lap where he was fidgeting with his fingers.

Hinata leaned in capturing Kenma's lips with his for a soft kiss. " I love you Kenma. I am in love with you and i've been in love with you for a long time now. " Kenma's eyes widened in shock but his expression soon soften when he felt Hinata's hand against his cheek making him blush. Hinata leaned forward capturing his lips once more which made butterflies start to form in both the boys stomach. " I want you be my boyfriend, to be my one and only so i can love and protect you with everything i got, so please say yes." Hinata place Kenma's hand against his cheek a smile spread across his face as he stared deep into his eyes waiting for his answer.

" Of course, i would be a fool to say no. I wanted to tell you for awhile now how much i feel but i could never find the words or time--." Hinata cut Kenma short by smashing his lips against his for a more heated and passionate kiss that seemed to last for quite awhile. The two boys eventually broke away and sat there in a peaceful bliss as they let it all sink in.

" You said earlier you had a plan to keep Kuro here? How?." Kenma asked intertwining their fingers together as they sat a bit further away now from all the festivities. " I wanna help."

" Yeah, the plan isn't to keep him here. " Hinata said scratching the back of his head awkwardly chuckling. " Kenma, i am going to follow him to go study abroad."

" But.." Hinata shushed him placing his forehead against Kenma holding his hand tightly trying to keep him calm. " I'll be all alone, how is that a plan?."

" Someones got to watch out for him and plus someones gonna have to drag him back here."

"But.."

"Don't think of this as a goodbye, this just temporary cause i promise you no matter what i'll be back for you. Our love story doesn't end here Kenma, your mine forever and ever just know that, Okay?."

They two boys once again share a very intimate kiss under stars before breaking away staring deeply into each other's eyes enjoying every minute of each other's company.
