"Why don't I just use this curtain holder thing? It's more preferable to one of your socks." He said, trying to detach a piece of material from the curtain rod.
"Are you implying that my socks smell bad?" She quipped. "But sure, that'll do. Trentos, we're ready."
Making his first few steps towards her, he wasn't even aware of Trent's counting. He was so engrossed in the routine, and in the woman he was dancing it with.
It was all going well, until Dianne's knee hit him in an unfortunate place. Biting his lip, he carried on, willing the rest of the routine to finish quickly. As soon as their bodies had stopped moving, he was quick in showing his pain, collapsing on the floor.
"What's wrong with you?" She asked, sipping her water from the corner of the room.
"You hurt me."
"I did no such thing! When? When did I hurt you?" She walked closer, towering down over him, watching as his lips curled into a smile. "See, you're fine."
Before making a completely inappropriate comment, remembering that there was someone else in the studio with them, he just nodded. Slowly making his way to standing, he winced slightly.
"You two, let's go from the top."
//
"Oh my god, that was too funny." She said, wiping her tears away.
"That's probably my favourite reaction video to date." He picked up her empty glass. "More wine?" He questioned.
"Only if you're having some."
"Well, I think I will now." He smirked, while walking to the fridge.
"Are you trying to get me drunk, Sugg?"
"Of course not, I'd never dream of it." He started pouring until the bottle was empty. "There you go, m'lady. Good job I have another bottle of this."
"I'm glad you do. Do you need help packing that up?"
He came round, placing a kiss on her cheek. "No, you go and sit down. Pick something to watch, I'll only be a minute."
After a moment of silence, he heard his girlfriend muttering to herself, before calling out for him.
"Joe, how am I meant to use this thing? Why can't you have a normal remote? Help me please." She whined.
Sighing, he walked over with a slight smile on his face. "Maybe some day you'll learn. There you go, choose whatever you want."
"A film? Or just a programme?" She asked, looking at him standing in the kitchen.
"Are you going to stay awake if we watch a film?"
"Of course."
"I want to put a bet on that." He laughed.
"Fine by me. I'm putting 'The Little Mermaid' on, and I will stay awake."
Coming to sit down next to her, he automatically pulled her closer. "No, you won't." He whispered, inches away from her face. He saw the goosebumps appear on her skin, before lightly kissing behind her ear.
"Okay, you win. Happy now?" She leaned in, teasingly brushing her lips against his, before pulling away, out of his grip. She started the film, enjoying the unimpressed and disappointed look on his face.
"No."
"Oh, whatever is the matter, Joseph?" She was properly smirking, knowing that she was driving him crazy.
He leant in towards her, quickly attaching his lips to her neck, leaving multiple kisses.
"Remember...we have training...in the morning." She managed to muster out.
He stopped, and looked at her, with pleading eyes.
"No, Joseph. Wait until Sunday. You have two dances to perform before then." She looked at him, trying to look as stern as possible.
"Why are you right all the time?' He huffed, before wrapping his arms around her, and leaving a delicate kiss on her forehead.
"I see what you're doing." She whispered, eyes still glued to the tv. "Trying to get on my good side."

Stacey could feel the tears forming in her eyes, and looking around, she could see that many of the girls were the same.
Dancing their Viennese Waltz, Joe and Dianne looked so entranced by each other, like there weren't millions of people watching. For Stacey, watching two of her friends like this made her heart flutter. As the music slowed and came to end, seeing the smiles on their faces, only an inch apart, was a moment she wanted to treasure.
//
"You know what, no matter what anyone else says, you did lead me." She whispered next to his ear, whilst in his embrace. "I'm so fucking proud of you for learning two dances in a week." She pulled away, putting her hands on his cheeks. "Even if we don't get through, you have made it so far, and everyone is beyond proud."
He looked at her, the soft expression on his face turning into a more stern and sincere one. "No, we have made it so far. There is no way that I'd be here right now without you."
She smiled sweetly at him, as a tear rolled down her cheek. He dipped down, kissing her forehead. "Come on, let's see if we've made it through."
Sorry this is quite short but hope you enjoyed anyway :)
