Part 30

Neha had a quick breakfast as she woke up a little late today. It was late at night when she slept and so she couldn't wake up early.

Neha : Didi can I take your car today. It will take time to call a cab and wait for it. My car has gone for servicing.

Akash : Neha I will drop you if you are getting late.

Neha : No jiju that's fine. Didi's car is free nowadays na as she is on maternity leave so I will take that only unless mama wants to go anywhere?

Muskaan : No beta I am not going anywhere. You take it.

Meanwhile doorbell rang and Neha opened the door. Their driver stood in front of her.

Driver : Mam your car will be delivered back this evening. Today Namit sir asked me to drive you to college.

Neha : Ok you go. I will come

There was a goofy smile on her face knowing Namit send a car for her. Her goofball cares a lot for her but still he needs to be teached a lesson. She bid her goodbye to her family and taking her purse left for her work.

There was a heart shaped bouquet of her favorite chocolates along with a sorry card. She smiled caressing it.

Driver : Mam sir has told me give it to you and asked you to read the card.

Neha quickly opened the card to read.
I have no words to describe how sorry I am for my reckless act yesterday. Please forgive me my sweet wife.
Your's Namit

Neha thought to reply him and say him that he is forgiven but then stopped herself. Still let him apologize more meanwhile she took a chocolate from the bouquet and started eating it. She had called Kavita this morning and informed her that she will stay with her family for few days and asked her to look after Namit.

Namit was continuously looking towards his phone hoping to get some reply from Neha. He had messaged her this morning wishing her good morning and have a great day but she didn't replied. He had sent a car and apology gift for her but still no reply. Has she thrown away his chocolates and card? Well he deserves it.

Kavita and Yash were watching him looking at his phone every now and then and not eating properly.

Kavita : Namit eat your breakfast first. Keep phone at side

Namit looked up from his phone and said : I am not hungry mom.

Kavita said sternly : Dr. Namit Saxena finish your food or else I will call Neha and tell her not to come back soon.

Namit gaped at his mother : You wouldn't do that!!

Yash : Don't underestimate your mom son.

He kept his phone aside and quickly started eating and finished his food in no time.

Namit : Mom now call her and tell her to come today itself.

Kavita and Yash laughed.

Kavita : Namit let her stay there for few days. She called me today morning to inform that her mother, Megha and Akash were missing her and she would be staying with them for sometime.

Namit : But we are also her family and even we are missing her. Mom we go there every weekend for lunches and dinner. I don't understand what's the need for her to stay there for few days.

Kavita : Beta you will not understand this. It's difficult for any girl to leave her family,her house behind and come to live with us. She just becomes a mere guest in her own house after marriage. So it's our duty to let her go there and stay with her family for sometime. And moreover she will come back soon. I know my Neha.
