Part 45

It's been two weeks and Krish was all settled in his new home with his new family. He became his grandparents heartbeat, his mother's breath and his father's dream. He also became the light of life of Neha's family. Now everyone was waiting for their babydoll to come home. Neha, Namit, Yash, Kavita, Muskaan, Megha, Akash everyone visited their little angel everyday. She was growing fast and her parents were more than happy to see her healthy.

Namit completed his last appointment for the day and went to see his daughter before he left for home. He washed his hands with the sanitizer and went near her. Today her eyes were open and she looked at Namit with her big brown eyes. As if sensing her father's presence, she gave a half smile to Namit.

Namit was surprisingly shocked to see his daughter looking at him with a half smile. He fished out his phone and took her picture.  Then he carefully picked her up and cooed her.

Namit : Oh my princess is smiling today. Where you waiting for daddy?

The doctor came in the meanwhile and saw Namit playing with her. He smiled and came near him

Doctor : How is new dad and daughter?

Namit grinned : Mighty fine Rehaan. Done for the day?

Rehaan : Yup finished with work. Actually I was coming to you only..

Namit asked confused : Why?

Rehaan : Anaya is all hail and healthy now. So you can take her home anytime you wish.... I did her complete check up before you came here. I have already signed her discharge papers.

Namit beamed hearing this : Ohh that's such a great news. Everyone is eagerly waiting for her at home. Thank you so much Rehaan.

Rehaan : No problem. See you tomorrow!!!

Namit smiled at Anaya : See princess now we can finally take you with us. Now we both will go and surprise your mother, brother and your dadu dadi.... They all will be so happy to see you.

He called their driver to drive him home as he was carrying Anaya. He saw his family laughing and talking when he reached home. He stood at the entrance of the door and said in a loud voice to gain their attention.

Namit : See everyone who has come??

Everyone turned hearing his voice and gasped seeing Anaya in Namit's arms. When he was about to enter, Kavita stopped him.

Kavita : Hey wait I want to welcome my granddaughter properly and cast off an evil eye from her. Neha you go and stand with Namit.

Krish : Dadi me too....

Kavita : Yes beta you also go and stand with your mummy daddy..

After doing that, Kavita allowed Namit to bring Anaya inside their home for the first time. Neha took her from Namit's arms as soon as they came inside.

Neha hugged her gently to her chest and patted her back. She kissed whole of Anaya's face with love shining in her eyes.

Neha cooed her : My princess is home now. I am so happy to have you baby.

Kavita came and took her from Neha's hands : Ohh my Anu baby came. We all were waiting for you so much darling...

Yash nudged Kavita and took Anaya from her arms : Dadu's little doll finally came and completed our family.

Krish who was watching his little sister being passed from one person to another poked his mother to gain her attention.

Neha : What happened Krishu?

Krish pouted : I also want to hold Anu...

Neha : Aww my Krishu wants to hold his little sister? But you would do that only when me, daddy, dadi or dadu is there ok. Not alone.

Krish : Ok mummy now give her to me!!

Neha : Alright first you sit properly then I will place her in your lap.

Neha carefully placed Anaya in Krish's lap and he touched her fingers in fascination.

Krish clapped excitedly : She is so boutiful mummy like you.

Namit smiled : Yes son she is so beautiful just like your mummy.

Neha caressed his hairs : And my Krishu is so handsome...

Krish looked at her with twinkling eyes : Like daddy? I want to become like daddy when I glow biggy biggy

Neha laughed : Yes baby you are so handsome like your daddy.

Krish : Mummy she is so small how will I play with hel??

Neha took her from his lap whereas Namit sat near them and pulled Krish into his lap : Hey buddy how about you look after her now and when she grows big like you then you can play with her!!

Krish : No I want to play with her now only.... You told that she will play with me..

Namit : Yes she will but not now. You are her big brother and big brothers have to look after their little sisters. Won't you do that for your little sister?

Krish : No no daddy I will. I am a big blothel now..

Namit : That's like my boy.

Neha : She slept. I will put her to sleep in her cot and then join you all for dinner..

Krish was throwing tantrums while eating when Namit sternly said : Krishu eat your food.

Krish : Daddy I not eat this. I don't like.. I want noodles.

Kavita : Ok then I will make noodles for you Krishu...

Namit said in a no nonsense tone : No mom he will eat this vegetable only with us. He needs to eat healthy food. Krishu start eating..

Krish : But daddy....

Namit : What buddy you want more?

Krish quickly shook his head and started eating making faces. Neha who was silently observing all these came and took her seat besides her husband and whispered in his ears : Well done hubby.

Namit smiled at her and gestured her to start eating.

Anaya started crying when Namit was putting Krish to sleep. Neha had gone to make Anaya's powder milk. Namit picked her up in his arms and started rocking her. This was disturbing Krish's sleep and he sat on his bed annoyed.

Krish : Why is she clying evely time daddy.... She is a clybaby..

Namit chuckled hearing him : Buddy she is so small to speak. That's why she cries everytime.

Krish stubbornly ordered her : Anu don't cly. You lan to speak ok??

Namit burst out laughing hearing Krish. Neha came with the milk bottle and took Anaya from Namit to feed her.

Neha : Why are you laughing so much?

Namit : Krish declared that Anu is a crybaby and he ordered her to stop crying everytime and learn speaking.

Neha chuckled : He is seriously taking after you Namit.

Namit raised his eyebrow playfully : Got any problem with that darling??

Neha rolled her eyes : No babe!!!!

Krish : I want to sleep with you and daddy today mummy...

Neha : Ok baby you and daddy go to our room. I will feed Anu and bring her with me...
