Up above is Caleb in wolf form. This is in Kenny's POV

It has been forever since I have last seen Kyla. I bet she is being tortured. Maybe even starved. All I know is that she isn't dead. I can feel it. Our mind link is coming back. When sharp pains run through my head I know it is the Moon Goddess reinforcing it, but how did it get broken in the first place?

"Everybody, we are going to go save Kyla, but we need a plan first," Caleb says as most of the wolves exit their tents. While munching on my cereal, that some wolf bought yesterday, I perked my ears up. I was dying to help her and finally I was getting the chance to help.

"Everybody will be given a job," Caleb continued, "the jobs are: decoys: 3, distractions: 5, spooks: 2, and attackers: 7."

"And those are how many of each?" a small girl asks.

"Yup, and everybody but kids younger than 10 will be fighting." A chorus of cheers ring through the crowd. Lately Caleb has become more of our temporary Alpha than Adam, and Adam isn't liking that. Adam is just going along with the 'Beta' title. I stand up and go over to the stream Caleb found a week ago.

We were all searching for a water source, and he finally found one. The water there is clean enough to not kill us or give us cholera. Now, Caleb has scheduled an "every-third-day-bath." Ya. At least we are now clean and so are our clothes. I'm just kinda surprised that they never noticed it before. This was their packs old training grounds. Whatever.

Caleb puts us into our groups and, of course, I'm an attacker. He is as well though... ugh. I can't have him stealing MY mate while he hasn't found his own yet.

All day I am helping train kids 10 and over, their body is already strong and they need to be pushed to their limit. I take then onto the high ropes and time them. I tell them that if they can beat it in 8 minutes then we will move on. Most of them do and I make then to some core while we wait for the others.

Ya. I know. A little strict but I am NOT letting Kyla be lost again, or for any longer.

Everybody beats it and we move into a patch of grass. I grab 4 strong sticks all the same size and send them to work, doing combat with sticks only.

Letting them off for lunch I start to come up with some new exercises. These kids are amazing and are all giving 110% effort. Kyla must mean a lot to them.  Not surprising, she always had such a special way with the kids.
