varied and catered

themselves
for others
to pay for
to believe

forever forfeiting
sense-of-self
reality elusive
clouded by untruths
an importance:
beautiful to be
to be not
is
to be.... not the next big deal
big deals made
as fortunes fade
as does the virus itself
immunity
a
figment
