The words don’t come easily
I’m torn apart
You gave me life and everything good
The lessons you taught
Were down to a fine artWhat’s hard to define are
The moments which took so long
For realisation to set in
For all the parts of you I feel withinFor the times I was lost
And felt you weren’t there
Memories faded and suffocated the airHowever when I looked in the mirror
The cues were all thereA part of you I’ll always be
My father’s son
Your legacy forever young
Your blood through my veins
For all eternityR.I.P. Glenn Raymond Carlton
