13. Soaring high...💚

''Grraoww!'' Guava barked.

''Don't tell me Guava's coming too...'' Mira said standing outside her apartment in front of Vikranth's car. She was about to get in when she noticed that Guava was sitting in the front next to Vikranth...

It was around 9 a.m. the next day and the boys had come over to Mira's place to fetch her. Mira was wearing denim shorts, a red top, running shoes and this super cute rabbit-ear red headband.

Vikranth who was wearing Jeans and a light blue t-shirt, along with a pink & white cap said to Mira,

''Hang on, we'll move Guava to the back with Sri, then you can sit here..''

After moving Guava to the back with Sri, he asked,

''Hey Vicks, can I drive?''

''Not now Sri...maybe later...''

''Ugh....fine...but I'm not gonna sit with Guava the whole time...''

Mira felt guilty and said,

''Sri, you can sit in the front...''

''Mira..no it's fine, Guava still scares you and I don't want you to sit with him...Sri grow up and stop whining''

''Vicks! But you better let me drive on the way back at least...''

With that, Vikranth keyed in the GPS then the boys and Mira were off on the trip. It was a warm Sunday morning as the sun was shining brightly in the clear blue sky. As Vikranth smoothly drove the car with speed on the highway, Mira felt so calm and relaxed, she put on her Sunglasses and just enjoyed the view....

On the other hand, Sri would annoy Mira by having Guava touch her from the back a number of times, causing Mira to jerk on her seat....but she got used to it...''Dey Sri!'' she would scream...

Sri had put on some weird rap song on his phone which was also very loud and rapping along to it!

Mira asked, ''Sri...what is this noise?''

''It's called rap music Mira!''

Mira rolled her eyes and said, ''Can you at least play something that doesn't involve people beat-boxing and rapping?''

Mira's reaction made Vikranth throw his head back and laugh hard, his youthful laugh was Mira's weakness. It was contagious too...just like his smile, making Mira laugh as well.

He said, ''Enough Sri, pass Mira the phone, Mira, pick some song you like...''

''Uhh...no it's fine. I mean Sri, just change this song, that's all...''

Vikranth took the phone on his hand and played a song, it was 'Beautiful Angel' by Bazzi.

This was one of the few songs that Mira enjoyed listening to and she said, ''Hey, I like this song...wait, did you know that I like this song or...''

Vikranth simply smiled, ''It was a guess...''

''Good guess, but you can play anything of your choice....''

''It's cool, I like this song too...we'll change it later...'' Vikranth said. Mira simply smiled and went on to enjoy the view of the clear blue sky and beautiful green landscapes.

''What else do you listen to Mira?'' Vikranth asked after a few minutes.

''Eh..my taste in music is kinda limited to old hindi and tamil songs..haha...''
