''Sorry guys to interrupt but I have this idea, it's just a hint but I think it might just work if we develop it...'' Mira said.

Mira looked around everyone for approval before she went on to explain her idea. It was a new week at work and Mira was occupied with a new advertisement campaign for the consumer care product range that targeted families. Despite a lot of meetings and consultation with Richard, Mira and her team struggled to come up with a solid idea for the campaign. When Mira finished explaining, Ananth who was the team leader now said,

''The idea isn't bad but Mira it focuses a lot on emotions which frankly I feel would sell in India but not here...what do you guys think?''

Mira gave an awkward smile. Ever since Richard changed the team roles, Mira's been having a tough time as Ananth was too critical as a team leader compared to Hitesh. Mira was also given the secretarial role of recording the minutes to the meeting, which she wasn't fond of but didn't want to fuss. A good thing was that Jyoti was now on Mira's team.

''Actually Ananth, I think the fact that this idea relies on emotions is what would make it sell...'' Jyoti added.

''And how is that...?'' Jyoti went to add her perspective. But Ananth said it was still risky given the short amount of time they had, so he suggested something else. Shortly after the meeting, Ananth asked Mira,

''You're keeping track of the minutes right Mira?''

''Mmh-mmh.'' Mira nodded.

''Good, and also, don't worry too much about coming up with ideas, I think we have enough ideas for now.''

''Yea, okay.'' Mira said as Ananth left the meeting room. Maybe it was just in her head, but Mira observed a change in Ananth's behaviour ever since they were back from New York. He had become a bit more competitive around his colleagues and was often seen talking to Richard outside the consultation sessions.

Later that evening at home, Mira was eating instant noodles and watching something random on television. Recalling the events of the day, Mira really was confident that her idea would work, but she just had to pitch it in a convincing way to Ananth and her team, she thought. So she quickly finished eating and went to develop her idea with thorough research that supported it...because there was no way Mira was going to give up without at least giving her best shot!

The next day when she had pitched the idea to her team, despite her team members supporting her idea, Ananth announced that he had already spoken to Ritchie who had approved his idea, and suggested that they all work on this to avoid running out of time. At this point, Mira had no choice but to cooperate with her team.

It was finally Saturday evening and Mira was getting ready for the Diwali party. Sam had called her up before and told her to come to her place to help her with her sari and they would leave for the party from there. Mira was ready in her burgundy lehenga-choli outfit (see below) which she paired with some golden jhumkas and a gold bangle, her hair was straightened and let down. As it was early Winter, Mira had to wear stockings with her heels and a coat over her outfit too. She took a cab to Sam's place.
