Chpt. 12 why are men dumb

I'm constantly in danger but the funny thing is it's always with men that I'm in most danger with. I mean it's easier if it's a man so that my hunky man can beat the shit out of him.

Cause if it was a women then I guess it'd be a different story. Well at least what I think. And the men who always kidnap me want it for power over jaxson and it won't work. He always has a plan to save me.

And now with this baby on the way I have a feeling he's going to be more dangerous than he's ever been before. I was lost in thought when I didn't notice a man sitting in front of me.

"Well good to see you finally came from your daze. We can finally talk now." He says and smiles and to my surprise I was actually relieved to see white clean teeth. Unlike others with horrible and stinky breath.

"Who are you and why am I here?" I asked but I know the answers I just want him to answer them.

"Oh Pandora I think you know the answers to that. But I'll give you the satisfaction of answering them. My name is Logan and my dear ex childhood bestfriend Jaxson has you as his weakness and the best way to take power from him is you of course." He says and yep I knew it, they only want Jaxsons power.

"Cool nice to know. So how long do you think it'll take for him to find me? Cause my guess is not long." Then suddenly I remembered that I forgot to mention to Jaxson that I got a tracker installed in me by Iyana.

Well I'm guessing she told him. Cause if yes man it'll be easier to find me.

"Pandora, what is it that your thinking hard about. Ooooh let me guess how Jackson is going to find you in the middle of nowhere or how well kill him." He smirks and gets up when I scoff.

Soon enough I felt a sharp pain in my cheek and noticed he smacked me.

"You are gonna regret hitting me. Cause your lucky I'm in this chair or else I would beat the living hell out of you." I said and spat the blood out of my mouth when he just laughed.

"Ha what can a little girl like you do. Anyways you can stay here and rot while you wait for your man. That's if he finds you in time to feed you and all before you starve to death." He laughed evilly and everyone in the room with him followed him out.

Jaxson's POV

I basically turn my back for one second and I hear that my Queen has been kidnapped. And by the one and only Logan whom I despise the most in the world after his betrayal when we're young.

And now he's taken the only thing that I care for more about in this world. I didn't realize how deep in thought I was when Iyana walked in.

"Sorry boss but I forgot to tell you that when you were busy the other day Pandora asked me to instal a tracker in her. And she knew that it would come in handy. So I logged onto the computer and typed her name in and I found her. She's in an abandoned warehouse 3 hours away from here." She said and inhaled from talking to long without breathing or taking a break.

I got up and thanked her and buzzed for all my men to get into the weapon room.

I'm coming Pandora.

Pandora's POV

I'm sooooo hungry. It's been about a day and I'm hungry, but all they keep doing is hitting me. It's getting tiring of getting hit.

But I'm trying so hard to protect my baby, and making sure that my baby survives this all. They haven't noticed it yet that I'm pregnant but I will not let them murder my baby.

Suddenly I hear talking.

"Pandora you in here." A sweet voice said
"I'm in here." I said and a young girl came in and looked relieved to see the room empty with just me.

"Hi Pandora you must forgive me, my name is Elie, I'm a slave for Logan, I wanted to tell you that I heard them talking about some man coming to rescue you, I think his name was Jaxson. Well they said he is about 20 minutes away now. So I came here to tell you and give you this. I stole these from the guards and when the time is right i want you to break free." She said and I nodded and gave a grunt saying yes.

"Ok good. Oh no I must go now. But please stay safe madam. And I wish you the best of luck." She said her goodbyes and left the room. Then suddenly gunshots went off. Huh I guess 20 minutes went by fast.

I started to cut myself loose and take of the cuffs and I tried to stand but it was hard. My legs hurt and they fell asleep so I fell down and waited for my legs to wake up.

When it was ok to get up I got up and walked to the door and opened it. I waited for the way to be clear and then made a run for it. I got to another door and the gunshots were louder.

I opened the door a little and peeked. I saw men shooting and fighting then suddenly I saw Jaxson and let me tell you he looked hot as Fuck right now, but I'd be lying if I didn't say I was terrified with the look that he has in his eyes right now.

So when the way was clear for me to get out and it was safe I opened the door and ran suddenly I hear more gunshots and then I saw Iyana covered in blood.

"IYANAAAAAAA." I screamed and ran to her and caught her as she fell.

"Pandora. Oh am I glad to see your ok. How's the baby." She said tiredly.

"I kept the baby safe the entire time they beat me. I told you the tracker was a good idea. But hold on I'll get you help." I turn around and saw Jaxson over the dead bodies and he caught my eyes and his eyes filled with love and longing.

I smiled and his eyes widened when suddenly I felt I sharp pain in my shoulder. I saw him running to me with furry in his eyes. I saw Logan die and I was able to rest my eyes knowing the monster was gone.

Before I closed my eyes I felt Jaxson and I whispered "I love you." And they shut and darkness had finally swallowed me whole.
