"How do I look?"

"Like a Sea World reject."

"That's what I was aiming for, perfect."

Error smirked at Nightmare, who was currently looking at himself in a mirror in his bedroom.  His appearance had certainly changed; he'd gone from a pale-boned, fairly short skeleton to a goopy, black, tall and shadowy figure. Four tentacles stuck out his back, curled up passively. This was quite a deceptive position for them, Error had witnessed Nightmare brutally murder or mangle numerous people over the years with them. Glitch was wildly unimpressed with each death that they caused.

"Why are you even in that form?"

"I need a disguise, I always do my God duties like this, remember."

"Oh, yeah."

"Hey, should I visit Dream at his work while looking like this?" Nightmare chuckled.

"No, I don't think the sick children need that," Error tried not to laugh, "Dream would never forgive you."

"Yeah, you're right. About Dream, I don't care about the sick kids."

Error gave Nightmare a face that said 'Oh really?'  "So if you saw a ward full of kids, injured or sick, miserable and in pain, you'd...?"

"Laugh."

Error rolled over onto his back on Nightmare's bed and snickered. "That's really bad."

"Error, I love negative feelings. They make me stronger."

"You should have got a job at the hospital."

Nightmare laughed. "Can you imagine me in Dream's place? I hate kids!"

"Doesn't have to be a job with kids. Geno only deals with kids sometimes."

A silence followed after Nightmare gave Error a look, and the only sound that could be heard for a few minutes was Nightmare's typing on his phone after he sat down on his bed next to Error.

"Don't you have a date to get to?" Nightmare asked.

"Yeah... In about... Oh crap, I'm gonna be late!" Error jumped up, after seeing the time and realizing  that he was supposed to meet Ink at the movie theatre in half an hour.

"Oh, that's tragic." Nightmare said, not really looking up from his phone.

"I'm gonna call Geno, the movie theatre's like a 40 minute walk from your place..." Error muttered.

"You really need a car," Nightmare said.

"I don't have the money for that..."

"You could teleport." Nightmare suggested.

"I really don't trust myself to do that right now," Error sighed, "I'm way too tired..."

Teleporting was risky in some circumstances. If the person trying to use the power was too tired, hurt, or experiencing anything else that would affect their concentration, their teleport could malfunction in many ways: taking them to the wrong place, injuring the person, or just not working at all to name a few.

"Then maybe you shouldn't be going on this date, you seem too tired." Nightmare smirked at the other dark skeleton.

"I'm tired, but I'm sure I'll get through a movie tonight." Error rolled his eyes at Nightmare's attempt to stop his plans. His friend was making his views on Error's life explicit to him, not caring about the whole 'keep your opinions to yourself,'  lecture Dream had given him a while ago. However,  Nightmare had never been one to do so, and did not believe he'd comply with the rule any time soon.
