Creation Begins with an I, Destruction Begins with an E (Undertale Errink Book)

A POSITIVE announcement about the future of this book

Heyy!

So as I've been getting further back into writing I've taken a step back from writing chapters for this book to take a look at it. Instead, I've been writing plot, lore, and canon scenes from the past of this book (for example, writing scenes about these guys' past and stuff).

I cannot, I repeat, cannot make this plot work now. Not with my dumbass 2019 brain having started this heap of crap. I can, however, pull of a re-write with:

- More distinctive personalities and speech from each character

- Deeper, more interesting lore

- More characters (!!!)

- A THREE BOOK SERIES (!!!!!)

- Developed characters all round based on fandom and my own headcanons

- All round better quality of writing

- Translated versions of the writing

So yeah! Better shit coming!

I am fully invested in this story and in bringing it to life with better concepts; further developed and sculpted characters and plot.

My only fear is that nobody's gonna read it. I understand that people may not want to stick around for a re-written version of this book, but hear me out. The plot is going to change DRAMATICALLY, and you can all have your say as to what happens in the book next!

My Discord server always gets previews of chapters and I listen to every single one of their opinions about character and scenes. I also release exclusive content which does not get posted to my Wattpad on my Discord which is all canon to the plot of the new series. For example, this week's focus is displaying Cross and Chara's brotherly dynamic before the events of this book.

We host competitions for Discord Nitro rewards (worth about $10 each time) that are for art, writing, theories, gaming, all sorts of fun shit.

I know a lot of you won't wanna join because that means you gotta install Discord or whatever, but if you wanna be part of something pretty cool and pretty fuckin' big, then I would suggest you come and join us. I let you guys know all my ideas and let you pick what I work on the for the day, and I've made lots of amazing friends this way :)

Why do I even care so much about getting people in the Discord? Honestly, it's because the Undertale fandom can be so supportive when we're not at each other's throats. It's not solely an Undertale server, but it's nice to have that community vibe. I really value and appreciate all your opinions and suggestions for the book, and I hope that those of you already in the server are enjoying the exclusive content I've been posting!

Anyway!

Here's the slightly bad news:

This version of the story is either gonna have to be dropped or ended very abruptly.

Now, I'm gonna let my Discord vote on that. Let me explain:

If the story gets DROPPED, I will simply leave it where it is and stop uploading to it.

If the story gets ENDED, the plot will make no fucking sense. I know exactly how I'd end it... and you guys would not like it :)

I'm fine to do either. The sooner I get writing the new one, though, the sooner you get some decent quality writing.

But if you'd like me to finish it, let me know! I don't mind doing so, but keep in mind that it will NOT be a well crafted ending. It will be noticeably rushed- 5 chapters or so from where we are now.

Just let me know and I'll make it happen!
