"Perhaps ask me again. This time I encourage you to use some manners."

The woman looked down at Alpha. He was bleeding heavily and struggling to stand.

"You aren't above me," He growled, "You can't refuse any order I give."

"I am not refusing," She never broke eye contact with him, making Alpha feel slightly intimidated,  "I am merely requesting that you repeat your question in a more polite manner.

"Yeah, yeah, great, we can have this talk later, I'm kinda dying here."

"You are not. As you emphasised, you are a being with power beyond all but one person. You needn't worry; such a wound could not kill you. Hinder you, yes, but-"

"Okay, I get it, I'm not dying!" Alpha sighed.

The woman had him seated on a sofa inside her house a few minutes later, hands hovering over his chest.  Green magic seeped into his bones, and there was immediate visible change: The bone, by some miracle was slowly going back to it's original white colour. Scars and faint cuts remained, but the woman did not acknowledge these. Alpha knew she wouldn't fix what wasn't essential for him. She didn't particularly like him.

The large stab wound was not entirely healed, but he was no longer bleeding, and it looked a lot better.

"The rest will fix itself." She took a step back, gesturing for Alpha to get up. He did, pulling his shirt back on. Without so much as a thanks, he created a portal. However, her speech stopped him, "What is it that gave you that? Or rather, who?"

"...A mortal from an AU that Error destroyed. Ink obviously rebuilt it. The mortal recognised that I wasn't from around there and..." While the 'mortal' part was true, the rest was not.

"You must be lying," Her expression was amused, "A mortal could not do that to you."

"...Two mortals. At separate times."

She tried not to laugh, turning away.

"...Well, they had help from Reaper and Nightmare."

Suddenly she turned back around. "Ah. So you are attacking mortals this time? I assume they came to the mortals' defence?"

"They shouldn't have. They had no right to."

"You have no right to attack mortals if you've no reason."

"It was part of a punishment towards a God-"

"Alpha," The woman now locked eyes with him again, her icy stare making him as uncomfortable as before, "It has been a long time since I have received punishment, but I know that is not something King Multiverse would approve of. After what you did to Destruction, you should know you are on dangerously thin ice now. For your own sake, I advise you not to make any more irrational decisions. I do not wish to relive our brutal past, but every step you take brings us closer to it. Now please, leave." She descended down the staircase in the middle of the room, her sage gown sweeping along the floor behind her. Alpha disappeared through the portal.

"I told you, Nightmare, I won't help you. You're on your own with this one." The King said nonchalantly as he adjusted the crown on his head.

Nightmare went to retaliate, but Cross beat him to it. "That's not fair!" The King spun around, looking at Cross in mild surprise. "You can't do this! It's all of your fault!" He turned around, pointing at the Gods. More specifically, Ink and Nightmare.

He waited for someone to say it wasn't their fault. Instead the Gods just looked at him, faces all strangely blank, standing in silence. Cross was slightly taken aback by Nightmare's subtle nod. It took him a few seconds to get back on track with his rant. "If you had asked Ink about Creation earlier..." He pointed to Error, "The Trinity wouldn't have punished you- Or at least wouldn't have been so harsh, and you wouldn't have been in hospital, because that's where Dream got tied into the whole thing, which means there was then two friends of mine in this, and that, of course, meant I was gonna get dragged in too! And if I hadn't got dragged in, I would have never met you!" He now pointed to Nightmare, "And if I hadn't of met you, Alpha wouldn't know as much about me as he does- I mean sure, Ink's the main problem here, but if one less God associated with me, that would be less attention to me and my family! And you," He pointed at Reaper, "...I can't actually think of anything you've done, but if I can, I'll come back to you," Reaper nodded and suppressed a grin, feeling it was inappropriate in this situation, "You..." Now he pointed at Dream, "You sent Nightmare to my house, and I don't know if that contributed to any of this, but if it did..." He broke off, the others noticed he had tried to make that sound like a threat, but could clearly see that he just didn't know what else to say to Dream, "BUT YOU!" Cross suddenly shouted, now turning to Ink. "You-"
