Ah, so that's what their plan was? Deceit of Dolus sat in the tree, watching the entire kingdom evacuate itself while his little plaything ran off with that girl and the crown prince of Serendipity. They went on horseback to make their trip easier. How boring. Deceit didn't want to follow him, nor did he have to. His troops have orders to burn down everything. His troops are supposed to kill everyone and everything that breathes. They don't need Deceit up at the Vanguard telling them what to do. They aren't animals. They have been trained for this.

Oh, fun fact? Deceit lied at that first encounter on Broadway Shore. They were no conquerer. They had not taken over any lands and they had not set out to control the entire world. They just now had a personal vendetta against this entire continent. Speaking of which, they should head back to Transylvania. That's where Virgil and Remus are waiting for them. With a snap of their yellow gloved fingers: the magic man had found themself in the tower where the two men were lying about with their friends Adrii, Cameron, Derionna, and their new friend Jamahl. They had quite the big party of friends themselves. The heroines of this story are going to be in for a treat when they realize Transylvania is going to stab them in the back! It's what the alliance deserves for what they've done.

"Dee Dee! How's the massacre going? Are the people dying?"

Remus jumped up from where he was coloring in the giant coloring book they got for him and Adrii to share. Deceit chuckled, stroking his hair and tucking a loose strand behind his ear.

"Of course, Darling. Anything for you. The entire costal kingdom of Rome is moments away from having no survivors. As Jamahl and Virgil have predicted, the entire kingdom of Serendipity is fleeing to Galactica. We do not care, right? It was only Rome you wanted completely and utterly destroyed, right? Now all we need to do is wait for that pesky Prince Roman to gather the crown monarch of Galactica and come here to grab Virgil and then we can surprise him and make him suffer more. That is what you want, right my darling Remus?"

"Yeppers! Everything is according to plan then! Thank you Dee Dee, I love you~"

Remus giggled and got on his tippie toes, kissing Deceit directly on the mouth. Deceit held the back of his neck, making sure that his beloved wouldn't be parting from the kiss any time soon. They loved Remus with all their heart. So when he had finally reached the age of seventeen, Deceit being nineteen going on twenty right now (hard to beleive, right?)  Remus finally had revealed his past to them. Deceit was so infuriated that they acted upon the demented thoughts that his lover would sometimes have, making him so happy. They were lucky to have ties back to this continent through Transylvania, despite it being the most westward kingdom on the continent.

Virgil scoffed upon watching the two, feeling quite lonely themself. Virgil turned to see Jamahl and Derionna planning where they want their home and what they want their life to be like in the new world. The plan was to take over the continent and destroy whatever Rome was so that Remus could rule the entire continent and take back a throne more glorious than the one ripped away from him. Adrii was happily coloring in their coloring book while Camden braided their hair. Dahlia was the only one keeping Virgil company. She knew the pain of making a difficult choice just as they had.

"Virgil, is everything okay? You don't have to go through with this if you don't want to."

Dahlia placed her hand over Virgil's to give them some reassurance. Virgil's breathing was fast and they didn't even know it. This happened a lot when they thought about what they had done to get to this point. Virgil turned their hand over and held Dahlia's. They really needed some physical comfort right now, but both of them know they're far too awkward for hugs.

"There's no turning back now, Dahlia. I have no noice. I already made the deal and pledged my soul to both Dolus and Transylvania. I owe Remus and Deceit for heloing me when I needed it. Even though it's evil and traitorous... I have to turn my back on the Alliance and I have go help them."

Virgil's voice went quiet as they spoke, not having the energy to talk any more. They're so tired now. They rested their head on Dahlia's shoulder, despite being much taller and having to crane their neck down to do so. Dahlia closed her eyes and sat their with them, the person who saved her life all those years ago. There's just a web of people being stuck in situations that they don't want to be in, a Webb of people indebted to eachother with no way out. She glared at Deceit and Remus as they sat down, arms around eachother and grinning as they pulled Adrii, Cameron, Jamahl, and Derionna in for a team meeting. The fact she was caught in this mess disgusted her, bit Shen must be here. Someone has to protect Virgil... right?

"So with Rome burned to the ground we cannpush back the boarders Answer change them up into lots of fun little shapes! I don't think we need the whole coastline and I always found it cruel how Daddy used to have the largest kingdom, so we can split it up like jigsaw puzzles! Every kingdom gets a part of the coast! Oh! And we need to rename Rome since Daddy's gonna be dead! I'm thinking... Let's call it Schwanz! That sounds good for you all, right? Does it sound good Dee Dee?"

"It sounds perfect, love. We will do our best to make your plan happen."

The others didn't dare speak, knowing how Deceit got when anyone dared to conflict Remus or when someone interrupted the love of their life. It was horrible. Dahlia pursed her lips, conflicted. Rome was going to burn to the ground, yet the idea of having equal lands with equal opportunity... It's like they were doing good things in the wrong way, covering up any good they do have with the blind hostility of vengeance on Rome. What did Rome ever do to Remus? Dahlia didn't know, Virgil didn't know, nobody knew. Only Remus and Deceit knew why Rome needed to burn for Remus to be happy.

"Remus? Are you going to make Jamahl and Derionna the king and queen of Galactica? Because that's what they told me."

Adrii never knew when to keep their mouth shut, but Remus likes that about them. Remus did promise Jamahl that he could have his happily ever after with his forbidden girlfriend. Galactica runs different than the other kingdoms. The monarchs of Galactica have a system where every person's future is optimized. Most people are happy, but Derionna wasn't. She ran away to find Jamahl. Classic love story. Remus nodded happily, having everything planned.

"Yeppity Doodle Doo! I want Derionna and Jamahl to fix Galactica, and I want you and Cameron to run Transylvania! I don't trust the royals that are here now because they're all stupid. But I love you guys and I know you guys won't make the kingdom into a pile of dry poop! You guys are all good friends and will be even better royals!"

Remus turned his head, meeting eyes with Dahlia. She was still holding Virgil's hand. She didn't realize she was staring at Remus until now.

"And Dahlia can be Queen of Translynvania with Virgil! Not in a married kind of way because I know Virgil is asexual and Demiromantic but in like a platonic kind of way! No dick in juicy butthole required! Like two best friends running a kingdom and if they decide to get married then three or four or five or six or seven or however mwnt monarchs! It's going to be soooooo fun! Right Dahlia? It's a really good plan! Right Dahlia?"

Deceit glared at her, making sure she didn't say anything to upset their precious one. Deceit would stop at nothing to make Remus happy, it was as though it was their sole purpose in life. Dahlia looked over at Virgil, who was now resting peacefully. Had they managed to fall asleep in this short period of time? Dahlia didn't smile, she didn't frown, nor did she laugh or cry. She felt emotionless, like she simply had to obey. The very feeling she did her best to escape she carried within her at all times. She just looked back over at Remus and faked a smile, her cheeks hurting from doing this so often.

"Yes, Sir. It sounds absolutely perfect."
