2. Its only the beginning

Sammie's POV

I finished up at my locker and walked with the girls heading to first period. Lexi and I had first period together which is history so we split and went our way to class. "I saw you eyeing that new girl up, if you looked any longer you would have started drooling" Lexi says laughing. I shove her a little " shut it Lex I was only looking, we all were". I smile narrowing my eyebrow at her. We both laugh as we walk into class and I stop dead in my tracks. Lexi looks back at "what's your problem?" My mouth drops open a bit just looking towards my desk. There she was, sitting there so perfect with her blonde hair lightly laying over her shoulder. Lexi follows my gaze and she giggles "well would you look at that seems like you're going to have a fun first class". She laughs walking away taking a seat in front of the new girl but In the next row. I follow taking the seat right next to the new girl behind Lexi. The smell of her perfume fills my nose, the sweet smell of vanilla my favorite. I start getting my notebook and pen out when I hear a soft voice say " hi I'm Nichole". I look around and I point to myself "are you talking to me?" She giggles and smiles, oh that smile she had perfect white teeth perfectly aligned to go with her perfect eyes. "Yes I'm talking to silly" she laughs. I just stare at her thoughts running through my head 'this is to good to be true she seems to perfect to be talking to a girl like me'. My thoughts are interrupted with a wave in front of my face. I shake my head and focus back on her blushing and smiling " oh um well I'm Sammie". My thoughts trail off again 'she is so sexy, she has to be from the south with that accent'. And once again my thoughts were interrupted once again with the sound of the door slamming shut as our teacher Mrs. Patterson comes walking in.

Sammie's POV

The bell rings for lunch and I go meet the girls at our spot outside where we have been meeting for the last four years. I just can't seem to get Nichole off my mind ever since I laid eyes on her. I sit down at the picnic table greeting the girls with a smile. "Okay spill we all know you got something on your mind" Sarah says as the girls and her giggle. I laugh "I have nothing to spill and nothing is on my mind". Laura and brandy narrow an eyebrow at me "that's a lie" they say in unison. I put my hands up in defense "okay okay you got me but it's no big deal, really". They all just glare at me and snicker "Sammie we all know that look on your face so spill it" Sarah says. I take a deep breath and I begin telling them about Nichole.

Nichole's POV

So it's my first day in a new school and I must say it's been going very well especially with it being my senior year. These people have been friends for awhile and bam here I am in a new area, new school and I know nobody. I walk outside looking for a place to sit when I spot sammie sitting with a group of girl and I sigh. 'Yup she must be the popular girl in school because her friends seem stuck up just by watching them laugh and joke around' I think to myself. I walk over to a shady tree and I take a seat pulling out my lunch finding myself thinking about Sammie again. 'She's perfect, that cute smile she has, her eyes I could just get lost in without thinking twice. And that hair, it fits her perfect'. I sigh and eat my lunch just looking around but I just can't seem to get my eyes off of her.
