A few years past and Jason and I watched our friends fall in love, get married. We were still stuck in the honeymoon phase, we couldn't get enough of each other's lips. We never wanted to be apart.

I decided it was time to get out of the honeymoon stage, and invited him to go back down to the park where we had our first date.

"What's this about babe?" Jason asked, looking at the blanket I had lay down. It was being lit up by a few candles and the dim glow of the street lamps.

"I decided it would be fitting to do this here. Jason, from the moment I started watching your videos I fell in love. I never thought we'd ever get this far, and now we're here."

"I was just a crazed fanboy, who only wanted to meet you. I never dreamt I'd be the one to kiss you goodnight, the one to wake up next to you. The one to fuck your brains out." I muttered that last part quietly.

But Jason heard it and punched me in the arm, causing me to laugh softly.

"And I don't know, you know I'm not good with my words but."

I got down onto one knee, and Jason knew what was happening. Through the ups and downs I knew this day would come, but Jason never expected it.

"Jason, fuck. Will you marry me, please?"

I held up a small red box, containing the ring my father had given to my mother.

"You fucking idiot, of course I will." He squealed.

I stood up at put the ring on his finger, I brought his hand to my mouth and kiss it gently. As if to claim him as my own.

I brought my lips to his and pulled him close to me. Even though we'd done this a million times, and even gone further. This was the kiss that mattered.

The kiss that sealed our fate, our life together. This was the kiss that I would remember, that I'd tell our kids about.

"That I'd tell our kids about." I smiled.

Charlie and Renee clapped at the ending of my story, "That was so cute!" Renee squealed.

Jason opened the door, shutting it behind him, kissing me on the lips.

"What've you been doing?" He asked sitting down next to me.

"Just telling our kids the story of how we met, dated and got engaged."

"I like that story, I like how it ends." Jason smiled at me.

Man, I never got sick of that smile.

It had been five years since I had asked Jason to marry me. We got married in the summer, and adopted two beautiful kids.

Charlie, who was now six, and all he thought about was video games.

And Renee, who was eleven and just wanted to hear Jason and I's cute stories over and over again.

I didn't plan for my life to end up like this, two kids and a husband. I never thought I'd get kids, but here I was.

And I wouldn't want it any other way.
